Hi guanguan! We call it here in our place, Gender Bias. We are implementing a Gender equality law which both genders are given equality when it comes to job hiring. You can keep applying for other jobs and you will soon find the job that fits you. For the meantime, you can choose to stay online. Who knows you can find better job online than offline? Good luck!

Thanks for your encourage. In my country, we also have the similar law to protect female workers, but it's inevitable to be refused by some corporations by other reasons, in spite of the fact that it is because you are woman that you will be marry and pregnant.Anyway, I will not give up, and I trust the saying that where there is a will, there is a way.

As what I know, I think it is better that you are looking and applying for a job as a single person.Single in the sense that you are not still married.I think it is your edge in finding a job. I would say that because you have no responsibilities at all but yourself only. They would think that it will be better for you to work harder and more concentrated at your work when you are single.

I am not a female worker, but a man teacher. In our school, when teachers are employed, gender is not a problem at all. When a female teacher is pregnant and is to deliver a baby, she will have three months' leave with basic salary. Take care.

I cannot understand why your status become a problem with the job. Or maybe, why not find a job that doesn't require a lot regarding status but accept workers who excel the best quality for the particular position.

That happens sometimes. I am a female worker and all are well with my job. After graduation from college, I applied for 2 times before I finally found the job for me. The first 2 that I applied, I was not accepted because I was already married. What they need are single women. The work that I have now will be my work until I retire. You can find the job for you after several attempts just try.

Well, I think it all depends upon the job that you are applying for? I haven't experienced that in my past jobs and I haven't heard such complaints with my girlfriends as well. I think it is really a big challenge for you. I think what you have to do is prove them that even you're a woman you can do a lot of things. Prove them that even if you'll be having a family in the future it will not be a hindrance to your work. You go girl. Just try to impress them. Speak intelligently and with grace. :)
