For those of you that don't know Readbud is a website that pays its members to read articles based on the 50 subjects that are picked. Like alot of members of readbud many seem to earn money fast. However, as they get closer to the $50 payout, the articles one gets paid to read slows down greatly. It could even take days for me to get an article to read just to earn what little cents I would for that article. It wasn't all about the money though as the some of the articles that I read were worth it. I had heard rumors online that they don't pay. however, some said they did pay but they were fewer Still, I wanted to know for sure so I patiently waited until I accumulated $50. Eventually I did and I cashed out to Paypal and was suppose to receive my money in my Paypal account within a certain amount of weeks. Strangely, a little afterwards I could no longer get access to the readbud website. Months later I still can't go to readbud.com. That's what I get for the dedication. I must say I feel like a sucker for going through this. Just take my word for it and don't sign up for Readbud as they're a waste of time.

I know people who have been paid by them, but also know several who never were. Makes no sence for a site to pick and choose who they want to pay. Sorry you didnt get paid by them.

hi elmiko.
thanks for the heads up. it is not good practice for any online company to be selective in their payment of members. an online company who 'sometimes' pay is no different from a scam one. these are the types of websites that give online earning a bad rep.
here's hoping that your current and future online endeavors pay you handsomely for your effort and time.
cheers and happy mylotting!!!

I have read that Readbud.com is a scam site a few years back. I have read some members who were scammed just like you. They reach the $50 mark and cashed out, but then they never got their money and they couldn't log back into the site. I was glad that I read about it being a scam before I kept continuing with the site because I used to be a member. Of course I wasn't a member on their for that long to make that much money.

Thanks for the heads up. That is a site that might have interested me. Don't need to be wasting more of my time on something like that.

You did get suckered by the site, it's been a known scam for awhile, fortunately, I found that out early when I started earning money online so I never joined the site. I'm sorry you didn't get paid though.

It's a good thing that you've known better then.
Lots of scammers around and nowadays, its hard to find legit sites worth investing time with.
I do hope we can get a better start with a good money making investment.
Try blogging then?

Hi elmiko. I did register with readbud before, two years ago i think. I guess you are right since I was no longer able to access my account even if I tried to reset password and all, that was when I started to become a more active readbud member. All of a sudden, my account got closed or it would say the site is no longer available. :(..maybe i was getting close to the minimum pay-out.
