PS3, Xbox, or Wii

Currently I own a PS3 and have heard rumors of a PS4 due to release in 2012 or 2013. That being said, I am still having thoughts about switching to an Xbox. Xbox gives users the ability to call people while gaming, but the Xbox live isn't free. My interest in video games comes and goes, so a monthly subscription doesn't seem ideal, but I was wondering if there is any point in switching. Wii fans can state their opinions too.

Xbox live is worth the money! Games on xbox are done better and also with live your paying for more protection! Xbox has a ton more firewalls and other things to block hackers from getting in. The new xbox will have 8gb ram! We are not at about 500mb this will make the xbox run games that we never thought it could! Like mincraft infinite worlds. I would go with xbox for the pure enjoyment of xbox live

yes in reality linked to xbox there are many services but linked to the live features which they are not free so i think it cna be uncomfortable payiing monthly for a gaming network like that!!personally i don't know which the best between these 2 consoles also because ps3 is improved and title available are ok...in amny cases xbox and ps3 can be considerd equal and so depends from different tastes!!Personally when i play i am still palying on pc not on console so i solved the dilemma!!

Hello
I don't own that upgraded game boxes... But I am having PS2 and I am using it rarely. So I don't think I need to go for more upgraded one as I am not using it more.
About PS4, even I have heard that we can have it in 2013. I wonder what new features will be available in it. I have also heard that xbox is also thinking about new launch xbox 720. Well, if both these new releases will lauch in this year, then this new year will be rocking for game lovers.

I repair these things for a living, and i can say that ps3s are made much better. xbox360 is almost designed to break. They crap. They over heat and die. Ps3 is free yes and xbox live seems to have annoying children all over it.

There's no point getting Wii now when Wii U is coming out and it's backward compatible. PS3 has some great exclusives coming soon so it's worth sticking with it.

There's no point in switching to an Xbox 360. Mostly all third party games are released on both consoles, unless you want to play exclusive Xbox games like Halo and Gears of War. You have a PS3 already and you can play online for free. What's the point for paying Xbox Live when PS3 does the same for free. I have a PS3 and a Xbox 360 and I mostly play on my PS3 since the online is free. There's really no point to switch.
As for PS4, there are rumors that it'll be released in the year 2013 or by 2015.

The Wii have more games that are for kids of all ages. The online is not that great, but it is free. You can't call people on the wii though.
I personally like the wii because I like the games on it, but I think you're more interested in games that have good online play.

I am die-hard PS3. I haven't heard anything about a PS4, but if there is, we're getting it Lol. I have never thought about switching to XBox...my daughter has an XBox 360, but no one plays it but the kids. We have a Wii too...I like that for the more animated games...I like playing Mario Brothers...I like the Wii Sports and the dancing games, but for the more hardcore games...COD, Resident Evil, Assasin's Creed, Tomb Raider, 2K13...I play the PS3.

I love a lot of the games on the 360 but the xbox live thing isn't ideal...not when you have the ps3 giving you the same thing for free. I have never owned a ps3 but my brother has one and I really like it. I'm considering buying my boyfriend one for Christmas so I can play it too :P
