Finger swelling up at night?

Sometimes when it's late at night my fingers swell up so much that my wedding ring cuts off my circulation and I have to use baby oil to get it off. Normally, it fits comfortably and goes off and on with ease. I don't know why my fingers swell up the way they do when it gets late. Anyone know what causes this? Or maybe how to prevent it. It doesn't hurt, it's more annoying than anything. Thanks in advance.

It would be hard to know, best thing is to consult a doctor. There might be some histories.
For now you can try avoiding foods high in uric acid because you might have arthritis. You can also take mefenamic acid for its swelling. Or also take Vit D for your bones. And you can wear gloves, because cold environment can also be a factor.

I have heard that when fingers and feet swell up at times that's a symptom of something. I forgit what that was. Ut I guess you need to consult a doctor to be sure. However, if your line of wirk entails a lot of use uf hands and fingers, perhaps that is normal. Do ask your co-workers if they experience the same.
But just to be sure, ask your doctor. Have a great myltoc experience ahead!

I've thought that too and that's probably what the problem is...I work from home and I type ALL day long, literally. Thanks for sharing and have a great night

maybe it has something to do with the nerves or when tired hands are exposed to getting wet by cold water. i had similar experience before and i was advised to take vitamin b complex and after taking it for a couple of months the numbness and swelling that i normally experienced when i woke up in the morning had receded.

It is because the ring is little bit tight. It gets in easily but because of little tightness blood circulation gets block and finger swells. The best solution is take the ring to any jeweler and tell them to make the ring little big. It will take hardly 5 mins.
