Have you watched the movie The Wolf? Do you feel scared about wolves?

I am wondering whether you have watched this movie entitled with The Grey. Recently I have watched it with keen interest in my spare time fitfully. This movie is starred by Liam Neeson. I think he did a good job in the performance of this movie. I like this movie.
In this movie, those wolves are rather scary and fierce. It is hard to imagine that life can easily go on if one happens to be in a deserted region like Alaska with deep and heavy snow, so difficult to move on and that wolves can appear at any time of the day. Those wolves attack people. I just cannot bear it when this scene happens.
I have no idea what I should do to deal with those fierce and scary wolves if I encounter a wolf or wolves in the mountain and such.
Are you afraid of wolves? Facing them, how to deal with them?
(I watched this movie on 2012-10-12 and would like to watch it again sometime.)

To be honest, I haven't seen this movie but because of your discussion I'm a little bit curious to watch it.:) I'm pretty sure my father will love this movie.:) I'll try to check for the DVD copy because I wanna watch this together with family.:)
Lian Nelson is a good actor. Two thumbs up for him

It is a movie worth watching, but I am sorry to say that I mistyped the title of the movie. It is The Grey. It is about the fierce wolves that scare people. I wish you could find it for your father to watch it. Take care, litvillegas.

Hello William.
I have not as yet, but I have seen a good review about it and will probably watch it once it is on dvd. I wanted to add that my wife was just dreaming today in the afternoon about wolves attacking both of us - so talk about wolf :D

Hello elitess. It is terrible to encounter wolves as they are too fierce to be beaten if you have no weapon to protect you. although I love to see movies related to wolves.

I've seen the trailer for this movie and thought I'll check it out. I don't have any special fear of wolfs but that's probably because I've never encountered one face to face hehe. This movie looks like it did for wolfs the same that "The Edge" did for bears.

I watched this movie but frankly I felt disappointed to it. It was not as great as I expected. I only saw the wolves in the zoo. I think they will be much more horrible if we see them in the nature. Especially the wolves have the team work spirit and it is not so easy to defeat them.

During the National Day my family went to our local scenic spot for a trip and there we saw a lot of different animals. There we saw a few caged wolves. They don't look scary in the big cage, but when they started to tear a duck thrown inside their cage from the top, it was rather scary. Five wolves tore the duck into pieces together from the pair of wings, the two legs and the head. Blood was seen right on the spot. It was just a minute before the duck said bye to us. I felt very sorry for the duck eaten up by the wolves.
Speaking of team work of the wolves', it is very powerful and it is very hard to defeat them as they are so cunning animals.
I am happy that in our real life, it is not easy for us to be around with wild wolves in the wild. Otherwise, it is hard to imagine what will happen.

I have not watched the movie. But wolves just happen to be one of my favorite wild animal. Though I think this is a very biased view on wolves. I don't think they'll attack you unless you purposely wander into its territory. It's a natural reaction of wolves to deal with what does not belong on its land. People would try to attack a wild animal if it wandered into a building full of humans wouldn't it? Or at least try to shoo it away while someone using their head would call animal control. I don't think wolves are something to fear, humans outnumber the wolf population by millions and some sanctuaries are even trying to prevent them from going extinct.

Hello YamiKiba. You are right that those people in this movie happened to fall into the wolves'territory when the plane craft happened. That is why they got attacked by those wolves and they were killed by the wolves one by one with none surviving from it. Thanks for the response.

I thought it was a really sad movie. Funny and action packed too. It was really scary for me. I've never been on a plane and still refuse to get on one. The movie takes place in Alaska. The fact that they survived the crash was amazing but living through the weather afterwards and then the wolves! They were relentless.
Where I live there aren't any wild animals like that..the most I have to deal with are hungry squirrels.
