What do yo want to be when you retire?

Most of us dreams of being successful in our life.
But we know that time will come that we have to lower our activities, enough for hard work, or simply we have to retire already. And most of us doesn't want to just sit on a rocking chair.
For me, I want to write bedtime story books. You know, its like a grandma telling you a good night story. It would be really fulfilling. How about you MyLotters?

i have retired and am grand pa and also teacher. i also write for competition exams and i enjoy sharing ideas with members in mylot.

I have already voluntarily retired three years ago when i resigned from my job and decided to stay at home 24 hours, 7 days a week. While still young i dreamed of nature tripping once i have freedom of time but i acquired fears of travelling alone caused by an almost fatal accident which i could not shake off up to now. Hence, i am dependent on my children specially my daughter if when will she be available so that we could make an adventure together. Meanwhile, i'm already happy and grateful to be able to do anything that i'd love to anytime and within places i could access to just by myself.

I don't have any children but I think that if and when I retired I'd love to do things with loved ones.

I have been thinking quite a lot about my future recently, and the only thing that I honestly believe that I want to do is be able to raise a happy family as this means that I would be able to know that my children were happy. One of the things that I would really like to do is be able to retire and help my children to raise their families as I know that it can be difficult to raise children when you have to work at the same time. But I am a long way off retiring yet so I am just concentrating on my own life and family right now.

When my husband and I retire we are going to sell the house and and rent an apartment. At the moment we are relatively young, but when we get older we can't stay in the house, because it is isn't a suitable house for senior citizens. The money that we get from the house we would like to spend on travelling, and I hope that we will get the chance to visit some of the places where we haven't been yet. I would also like to take some classes when I retire. There are a lot of things that I would learn and at the moment I don't have time to take those classes because I am busy with other actitivies. I also look forward to spending lots of time on my art and my writing.

When I retire, I dream of being able to afford a vacation house near the beach, or have beachfront properties. I also wanna be able to still drive a car around town, have a comprehensive medical plan and health insurance and be able to pursue my hobby of writing without worries.

Iam giving all the effort to setup my business. So that when i will be old, i or my next generation can handle the business easily.

I want to be a jetsetter. I want to be able to travel all over the world. But of course, it would really take a lot of hard work to be able to attain this kind of life when I retire.

I'd like to be able to go somewhere with mild weather and maybe be a writer...own a bunch of animals and just enjoy my days.
