There is something wrong with the kick. I had a bike which would take like 20-30 kicks to start it. I used to get paranoid. But why are you kicking?? Just fix the battery and it will be button start. it will be better for you. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

Not all bikes have an electronic starter. Mine did, but I wanted it that way. Some of the old classics or most of them are kick start only.

If the spark plug looks good, the deposit is a light straw colour and the gap is correct, you should check the following in order: 1) Spark - remove the plug lead and hold it near the cylinder head whilst turning the engine over. If the spark is weak or non-existent, the problem lies with insulation, the coil or the magneto. Check each in turn. 2) Fuel - is enough (or any) fuel of the correct mixture being drawn into the cylinder? Check the carburettor, fuel line and tank for any blockages; check the air filter. 3) Timing - is the spark firing at the right time in the cycle? Consult your manual and make sure that the timing marks are aligned correctly. Anything beyond this will usually involve dismantling the engine, checking the valves and the gaskets and some kind of serious maintenance/repair. You can either do this yourself (if you know what's involved and what you are capable of) or pay a mechanic to do it.
