I watched Sling Blade...now sure how I feel about it.

I had seen this movie before a long time ago and I watched it again today. For those who haven't seen it, it is about a man (Billy Bob Thornton) who murdered his mother and her lover when he was 12 years old and was sent to a state hospital and released some 30 years later. He has no family and no where to go and he befriends a boy named Frank and his mother. I don't want to tell the whole story and ruin it for anyone that hasn't seen it. It's one of those movies that you should feel good about, even though the ending is bittersweet. Anyone else seen this? What did you think?

SLing blade..mm sounds familiar..but i think i havent seen this..probably only have heard of the title..
Billy Bob eii? what year was this film?? probably i will try to see it.

I understood the story but I really didn't care for it. Mostly because of the monotone of the dialgue of the movie.
