horror nightmare

i was prescribed desval er 250 mg, libotrip and szetalo 10 mg one tablet each at night to stop horror dream. i m taking above medicines from last 10 years. now above medicines making dreams like illusion, meeting with dead people in my dreams. if i stop medicines then dreams are more dangerous. all my head hair gone due to side effects. what to do. mylotters pls give your opinions.

You really need to discuss this with your doctor. Only he/she can help guide you in the right direction. Not all medicine's are for everybody and maybe this is one of them that's not right for you. In fact, since the side effects are that strong, I wouldn't take anymore till you talk to your doctor and get his/her advice.

No he can't just stop taking the medication. He, or is it she, (I forgot) needs to ask the doctor before stopping the medication. You can get really sick if you just stop taking medication.

Have you talked to your doctor about this?? I have been on some medication that has made me have some crazy dreams.. Making me feel like the dream was real.. When I am having those night terrors I leave the tv on or turn some calm music and focus on the music as I was falling asleep.. Telling myself that I will just listen to the music while I am asleep.. It works most of the time..
But like I said in the begining.. It would be a good idea to talk to your doctor.. There has to be something that can be done so then your dreams wont be so bad..

That person told you to stop taking that medicine but there's warnings on the prescription info sheet you get at the pharmacy stating you should not stop medication. Medication has to be tapered off. If you want to get very sick like food poisoned sick then stop taking it. No, I will not tell you to stop taking this medication. Please call your doctor and if you can't talk to the doctor then talk with the nurse. And she/he will ask the doctor for you.

Oh I have heard this for the first time. There are medications for dreams also?? I am sorry that you get such dreams. You must think positive and not think of anything bad before going to sleep. Just be positive. I see that you have chosen depression as your category, please think positive and fight the depression. it is only you can do it. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.
