Wordpress, I am depress. / myLot

A friend of mine told me that he will helped me to set up my own website. But the problem is that he will be using wordpress and joomla. I have no background with joomla especially more on wordpress. I helpless about this task. I don't know what to do. Is there a site where I can study and expand my knowledge in this application? Your help in providing is really appreciated.

I have a website that specifically teach you on what wordpress, is all about. The instruction I made is step-by-step. This what I do before and learn the process of wordpress and I want to share it with you if you want to learn wordpress.

joomla is a really improved content managment but yes you must expand a bit your knowledge about it because the first time you see it may be you feel not as comfortable as for instruments you normally work....i think as regards wordpress is not complicated may be you can check many guides about it or even make some experiments and probably after a hort period you will understnd all also because wordpress in my opinion is user friendly not really complex excluding if you work using html features and so in this case you need to know the htm tags and standard!!
