welcome to mylot. Supposing there are 1000 members opting for a category or interest -- One who participates more in it is given the highest rank --17/1000. Lowest is given 1/1000.

Not quite right.
In 'mylot.com' there are 28,077 members and you are ranked 373 out of 28,077. The LOWER the number there, the HIGHER your rank. If you look at your profile (or here: http://www.mylot.com/w/lists/7_85090/members.aspx?p=19 ) you will see that this means you have achieved level 16 (of 17). The HIGHER the level, the HIGHER your rank.
I have to say that I don't understand the significance of 'Levels' but MyLot seem to enjoy calculating them, so why argue!

i think levels is like a "percentile" or a statistical rating of your likes and the rooms you visit often on mylot. i have about 28 interests and at a quick glance, I understand what rooms are giving me the most responses and what rooms i visit the most. quite interesting.
I wish it had a relationship to earnings. If only wishes were horses...

hi simply that you are the x number of persons to respond to that particular interest and it does not affect our earnings
at all. I could careless where I am in the interests at
all.I only care that my reputation stays high and that
I have fun and enjoy my self
