Recently there has been news of unexpected freak accidents happening like a child falling through a hole in a school van, a child drowning in a swimming pool at a school.
It seems to make us think that schooling has been made commercial with no thought being given to the welfare of children. What are your views on the same?

I don't every school like that. perhaps,it is only coincidence. I think that there are still people who work in the education industry and school because they gnat to. Even if schools are businesses (because they are), it would be a poor business indeed if they cannot take care of their client (which are the children and parents). I think that accidents d happen and it does even in school. I'm sure that the school will take responsibility or they will close before they could even appeal.

I don't think that it is the case that schools are not taking as much care, but I do think that the media is commenting more on things like that which is meaning that people are thinking that it has happened more often than it actually is. There are a lot of rules and laws which mean that schools have to put certain safety measures in place for the well being of the children, and I don't think that there are many schools that don't do their absolute best to make sure that children in their care are both happy and safe.

Thanks for sharing this discussion. Well of course schools have become commercialized these days and education is no more being given importance at these places. The incidents like this clearly reveals how indifferent these schools are for the children and are not safe havens for them. Schools should only provide education and some other basic knowledge.
What say?
