Social Networking on Facebook

I have been trying my hand at "social networking" on facebook. I didn't really know where to start so I have been adding people with the last name "clicker". Unfortunately, I think I've fallen in with the "wrong" crowd. I can only imagine these are people partaking in adsense click-fraud. Anyways, I find that most of the posts are generally ignored so it doesn't seem to be working. How have people started up their friends base on facebook, or elsewhere? Any suggestions would be appreciated on how to be successful with this sort of social networking. Thanks!

well, I got a bit confused here. do you want to make friends on facebook or do you want to get "online work mates"? this is really important as not everybody is interested in working online. sorry I had to say working online because I think this post fell in making extra money category.

then I think, instead of searching in on facebook, it's way better to find it here on mylot or matesgate. the two I mentioned are social sites which people there have intention not only for social-sake, but also with intention of getting some income while doing so. you can exchange sites and do other things that will be profitable for both of the parties.
