My cousin is asking me about some good romance, well, not exactly romance like all mushy mushy and stuff kind of romance, but a novel/novels which focus on the love story of people.
I mostly read fantasy/adventure ones and sagas; those which do not happen in real life.. so I don't know much about novels in the real life setting.
Who are some good authors? and what titles would you suggest?
We're looking for some light reads which are sweet... I'd appreciate your help, thanks a lot! :D

I really like Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres. It has great love stories, not just one. And I think the movie really didn't do the book justice although the cinematography is great. If she wants something shorter, how about A Very Long Engagement by Sebastien Japrisot, which also has a mystery as well.

I am not big in to romance novels, but some authors that have romantic plots that also have adventure/mystery, etc...are Nora Roberts, Jayne Ann Krentz who also writes as Amanda Quick (some of her books can get quite steamy), of course Danielle Steel, Lisa Jackson, and Iris Johansen to name a few. I know that your post was awhile ago, but if you were still looking for suggestions, I hope I could help.

Oh, yes.. I've seen quite a good number of Nora Roberts novels.. Also Danielle Steele.
I'll mention these authors to her and have her take a look at their books! Thanks so much for your suggestions because I have close to zero ideas when it comes to romance books. :D Thanks for sharing, these names are surely appreciated!

I would suggest you try to read 'The Notebook", Harlequin books are also nice to read. No heavy drama, just the teeny drama type of romance.

Oh, yes, I have mentioned Harlequin (Blaze, actually) to her. I think she's already seen "The Notebook" so she won't be interested to read it anymore. But you ave me an idea though! Sparks' novels are those with romance, right? :D Thanks for this response!
