Divorce (or a Dissolution of merriage) is the final termination of a marital union, canceling the legal duties and the responsibilities of merriage and dissolving of matrimony between the parties (Unlike annulment, which declares the merriage null and void).

Thanks a ton for the discussion. Well yes divorce is the final termination of a marriage and i think it is very much a disgraceful act and i have never appreciated this thing in my life. Marriage is such a pious institution and the very thought of divorce pollutes this institution and couples should always make it a point to avoid such things to happen as the children are the ultimate sufferers at the end.
