Adam sells to Jack!!!! What now? Young and the Restless Soapy!

SO first....Adam turns down Victor for his shares of Newman Ent. I am going...YEA Adam..that's the way to do it. HOld on to them and dont' let them all push you around!
Then I find out he sold them to JACK!!! WHAT!?!?!?! Why did he do that, first knowing it'd rankle Victor, Nick and Vic...and for why? He said himself he didn't have enough to do Vicctor any good, does that mean he had enough for Jack to do damage? Guess so..but still...he keeps going on about his new life and leaving the Newman's in the dust behind him...and then he goes and does this!!! Why didn't he just hang on to them and stay on the board and rack in the profits? The problem is..this will be something that they will use to drive Adam back to his old self.. and I didn't like him that way! I like him and Chelsea how! I thought it was horrible that no one told him first about Victor's disspearance, didn't keep in up to date on the search and all..and then didn't even tell him his father was dead and THEN didn't tell him his father was alive!!! What a bunch of wealthy trash they are! And THEN...Victor comes to Adam and expects Adam to "keep the family together". Are you serious!! And THENNNNNN they all get mad at Adam when Victor tells the kids that Adam wasn't going to side with them and THEY GET MAD AT HIM AGAIN!!!! What a bunch of trash they are!!!
But surely he knew that selling to Jack would just make that all worese. I'd a thought he'd just tell them all to go away and keep his shares and let them all fight it out. THis way...he just made it all stay right there in his lap.and with the baby coming...boy Adam..thought you were smarter than that!
What do you think is going to happen?

Maybe he just wanted to be completely out of the whole mess. Because of the way Victor had treated him, he didn't want to side with him; it was that Victor wanted to buy his shares but that he wanted him to go along with him on everything he wanted. So he didn't want to be under Victor's control like that. So if he just wanted nothing to do with the whole mess and Jack was offering him a great price for his shares, he washed his hands of Victor and sold for nice chunk of money.

That could be true. I was thinking that just keep the shares and get the dividends/interest and sit on the board and just vote and walk away...but yeah...maybe it was his way of getting out of the Newmen mish-mash for good. I hope that is why. I also hope that they let this new story of the car accident, allow them to keep the baby and both be fine and the family stay together. I think they need to make some new marriages and have them last longer than a few episodes! They could have Adam and Chelsea, Victoria and Billy to carry on the Newman and Abbott names and then toss in Michael and Lauren and Kevin and Chloe for the "other" town marriage and have some stability for awhile...it'd sure be something new and different!!!

I was really disappointed that he sold his shares to Jack. He should have held onto them and continue to profit from it. Jack is going after a hostile take over with NE and if he keeps buying up all these shares, he will have it. I think Tucker sold him a lot of the shares he was buying up just so they can stick it to the old man.
I am looking forward to see how this plays out but if this new writing team is as predictable as the old one, we know that Jack will only be in control for maybe 1 week before Victor outsmart him. Jack is so dumb for a business man.

Yeah that's true! Today's previews for tomorrow show Adam telling Jack "I'm Team Jack now"...cause a Newman killed his unborn child.
