not really...I think money is most female's weakness these days. and I'm saying this because money allows you to buy pretty much anything you want so you could satisfy others weaknesses like shoes, bags and jewellery. I never understood how a woman could stay in a relationship with someone just for the money. I have friends who do it and I don't get it

Jewelry is lovely. I LOVE it. Diamonds, rubies, emeralds, gold, platinum...yummy!!
Of course the lady had to be really mad to kill her husband because of wanting to sell her jewelry, maybe it was jewelry that she inherited from her grandmother or something. I'm going to have to look it up on the Internet and see if I can find the story.

A lady can wear all the jewelry that she wishes. It is most probable that she has a jewelry box with necklaces, bracelets and rings in. It is her own jewelry so her husband doesn't have the right to sell her jewelry. I have seen some adverts that offer to buy gold for a large price. It was sad the lady killed her husband because he wished to sell her jewelery. She should have said no to him selling her jewelery. He should have accepted the word no.

I think it is just stupid. I mean, ok, the jewelery is hers and he shouldnt sell it, but he does have the right if they are having financial problems and that money could help them get staightened out. If she doesnt let him then she is just sellfish and only is thinking of herself. She is being materialistic.

Oh, my. I guess the jewelries were that expensive and so valuable to that wife and she even killed her husband. I am not in to jewelries. Right now, I'm not using any jewelries. Maybe for some women but not all. Thanks for sharing and happy mylotting.

Ha ha what news, pathetic. Some people. But yeah, it doesn't apply to all the women out there, thank goodness I am not going to end up like than man. Some of them are quite fond of jewellery, and the interesting thing is our Indian women are particularly crazy about jewellery. But let me tell you, most women's weak point is their love.

I am a woman but I don't wear jewelries.
not because I don't have money to buy, but it's my choice.
I don't think jewelry is important to me- but rather a danger from robbers and bad people.

You know, I am a woman and I could honestly care less about the amount of jewelry that I have. I own my wedding band and engagement ring, a tennis bracelet that my husband gave to me several years ago and also a few different pairs of earrings, but that is all that I have.
I think that the reason that I don't have more jewelry than that is because of the fact that I don't like the blood diamonds thing and I also find that real good jewelry is really, really expensive.

There was a time when sports memorabilia would have been my top choice for a gift - and getting between me and the game could have put your life in jeopardy. Now, however, I am more about gaming, especially family games, and fun things to do. For some reason, there tend to be a lot of people that assume the best choice of a gift for a female is jewelry (or some other equally sexist gift, such as cooking supplies), but as with most things it really depends upon the individual.

For some women, jewelry can be some sort of a personal luxury or worth. Nowadays, jewelry are not just for body adornment but also an investment for women. If a lady has money problems, she can easily gain some money by pawing them. However there are her property. jewelries (as some men would like to say) are much more into the women's domain. They don't usually touch it since they don't' understand a sort of proposal luxury. But if things get rough a husband might think that selling the wife's jewelry is a good idea. But if the jewelry has a personal sentiment to the woman she might not even consider selling it even if she starve. It depends on how a woman perceives jewelry.
It's not that I don't like jewelry but I stick to the classic and simple one. I a also into costume jewelry since they can be less fussier than the grand ones,

I believe that Jewellery is not really women weakness. It is just some people are too materialistic which they value such things more than anything else in their life. In the news that you mention, it is just a coincidence that in that particular case the materialistic person is a woman and she killed her husband because of the jewellry. Though I do not deny that most women can easily be tempted by jewellry but not all.

Not in my case. Gadgets are my weakness. :) That news is hilarious, what happened to the wife? I hope she's already in jail. I love gadgets so much but not to the extent of killing someone for it. That's insane!
