Maybe 'serious' money to the administrators, but not 'serious' money to the members; just 'fun' money to the members (i.e. only profitable if all your expenses are taken care of ... if you have a real job that pays for them, or live with your parents or all your expenses are taken care of some other way.) As I might start starting a discussion once a week to say, we stay with myLot for the discussion--myLot is becoming sort of a cyber-'monastery at the top of the mountain (where you go to find the wisdom we monks & nuns share)--the money's just extra, like coffee-&-doughnuts (or breakfast, and/or lunch) at church. Yes, here we can participate in any discussions or initiate any discussions without any restrictions. As far as the revenue part is concerned this site genuinely pays you. Though the payment is not very high but one can easily make $10 per month by active participation on this site. I am with this site almost from the time of its inception and I have received my payments many a times so far. You need to work hard to make some extra money than $10 per month. Here thy have got an algorithm where they consider the frequency of participation, quality of the discussion and also the quantity. You will be warded with a star after you reach your score of 100 which will be determined by the members depending upon your popularity which in turn will depend on your participation and discussion. Higher the number more popular you are on the site and you have chances of making more money than the members having less star value than yours. You can earn in mylot, but you have to be active, and participate. I was gone for a little bit, and of course i didn't earn either. I decided to come back so that I could have the fun that I have had, and learn from others. Mylot isn't about the money, anyway. It is ab out having fun, and being able to learn from others, while earning at the same time. the earnings to me, are a great bonus.
