How does one speed up internet surfing experience?

I am currently using SeaMonkey and it's speed is considered one of the fastest, but I'm still not satisfied with the speed of my internet due to the fact that my internet company provider supplies only the maximum speed of 1 mbps and considering that my computer space is a bit small. Are there some ways you could advice me to speed up my internet use with a 1 mbps speed internet? The more applicable advice would be better and more appreciated.

hi,
the best experienced that i had before is the 10mbps that usually used for internet cafe,but of course the charge of that service is expensive too that is why i switched to 1.5mbps,and i am satisfied with that speed.if we will use downloading we need at least 2mbps but when we searching only 1.5 is okay with that.

Hi asliah, I think 1.5 mbps is good already. I currently upgraded from 500 kbps internet service provider to 1 mbps which I am satisfied, but due to some of my working activities needing faster internet, I still plans to upgrade my internet more to something even faster. Probably 2 mbps would be fine.
