While my daughter was browsing the channel looking for a good show to watch, she came across with a talk show featuring a topic about stock investment. So I asked her to stop for a while so I could take a look on the topic being discussed.
The guests on the show shared their stories about investment on stocks which according to them they started way back on their college years. They also shared some ideas on how to be successful on this particular field. Although there are certain terms which I could not fully understand, I am certain that having this kind of investment could be a good thing to venture on.
I also have invested on a stocks but this is with the cooperative which members are from the employees of our department. I have been a member for more than two years and yes being a stock holder would give us additional income from dividends at the end of the year aside from the patronage refund given to those who are patronizing the services the cooperative is offering.
I know having an investment is also good as this could also be a source of extra income. I hope I could also learn more about stocks investment in the days to come. Does anyone of us here also invest on stocks? Hopefully you could share a few tips on this kind of investment for us to consider. Thank you.

I invest in the stock market in the US. I personally only invest in broad based indexes and not any particular stock. The average rate of return over the long term is 8%/year, so don't expect huge income (unless you already have a nice amount to invest). My one word of advice, don't listen to anyone who publishes their ideas about where the market is going. If they really knew, they wouldn't be telling you. They would be working a hedge fund and making a lot of money off their trades which they would try to keep secret.

In my mind, the Dow Jones Indexes is stable this year, so in US market, one can be making some money. But unfortunately, I come from China where the Shanghai composite index drops and drops as if it never will stop dropping, it seems the Shanghai index drops at least 20% this year, but for one particular stock it will be over 50% or more. So most of us lose much money this year.
What a miserable year!

You actually highlight why I only touch indexes. Its hard enough to gauge the general state of my countries economy let alone a particular companies industry. Remember, you don't have to go "long", you can also make money by going "short" and profiting when the index goes down.

Thanks your instruction! In our market, we are forbidden to short selling, so we can't make money like you do in USA, but anyway, I will control the capital percentage that buy the stock. People say how it rise and it will be how it drop similarly, I believe one day the market will rise again.

Hi! I also came across with adds related to stock investment. Maybe if someone will really consider to plow in that kind of income source, one must study the principles and strategies in order to succeed. I myself is considering to try one but maybe not now because I don't really know yet how to play with the game.

Hi jdalaqui! It is really a must that we know every detail of the activity before going in. I also want to make a thorough study on this matter. Considering that I might not have enough time on other online activities, investment could be a good option.
Thank you for sharing!

Thank you as well for the discussion posted. Investment is a good one to consider because the return of investment according to some testimonies and promotions is big and satisfying unlike with so many online earning that is time consuming but the income is less.

I think some people are just plain lucky to get into the right kind of business to invest in. There are some who are not without luck and lose their investment in a business that has turned bad. One friend said that he does not want to put his money in the bank because it gives him very little returns. He would rather use his money in his business, roll it over so his money will earn bigger profit.

Hi cutie! Although luck is a part of any activity, its only a part of it. Complete knowledge of the matter is the most important part of it. I also have an investment on stocks in our cooperative and so far it is doing well. Studying and researching more is a good thing to do.
I am earning a little form my online activities as of the moment. So what I am planning to do is to invest a part of it on forex or stocks. But before I do that I want to study about it.
Thank you for sharing!

the stock market is risky, once you buy some share, the money will not controlled by you anymore, they will fluctuate in the marketing, sometimes it rises 10%, sometimes it drops 10%, you don't when to buy or sold.
My proposal to you is put small amount money in the market, even if you lose all the money it will not effect your life. Never increase the investment before you make profit in this market.

Hi paulsea! This is a good suggestion. Yeah, I am also thinking of starting out with a small investment if ever. But of course studying the market and everything regarding this particular investment is a must.
Thank you for sharing your idea! This is a very big help to me considering that I am just starting on this field. I'm sure that anybody can be successful with this field if we will just have to study before shelling out an amount.
Have a nice day!
