How to alter ?

I have made a small mistake while I was replying in a thread.
I ignored it and posted.
I tried but couldn't find a solution to make any edits for the published reply.
I edited in other forums earlier with a small explanation.
Is there any way here to edit?
If so, please let me know.

Unfortunately there is no way for an individual to edit or delete a post. Only admin can delete them. The only way I know to correct a mistake is to comment againa nd tell everyone the mistake and the correction under your first reply.

no possibility. that is why we have to be careful. in fact some people post in discussions/responses certain points which appear to be kept as secret not realising that it cannot be deleted or altered by us. so we have to be very careful before posting anything on the net.

We cannot alter the mistake committed by us. We can press! and request the admin to delete if the mistake is of a grave nature, Otherwise in the reply comments you can mention the error and give correct explanation.
