So today the show shows that Summer, Chelse and Adam are fine, but Chelsea lost the baby..a boy. THat puts Adam on the on the revenge road again, and the previews show him teaming up with Jack. He told Nick, "your daughter killed my son" and you know now that he and CHelsea are going to give it to the NEwmans.
Phylliss was exonerated of all charges, Summer acts like a spoiled rotten little rich girl, and Nick tells Phyllis he is filing for divorce.
So lot of things going on.. but still...why is it that the "good" people, the ones that are trying to do the right thing..why is it those people that are always ones that"loose". Phyllis..after all she's done and drug everyone in with her...she gets set free as a bird, yet now Kevin is on the outs with Michael. Summer is against her mother Phyllis and now a hit and run kind of charge, Adam looses his baby, Ronan gets the girl, another divorce in the works, and good grief the list goes on...but no where does it ever say that a Newman is "guilty" or has to pay for their crimes!!! I am tired of the good guys always being the only ones that have to "pay" for the things that the "bad" ones do!
And you now now, that probably Chelsea will find out she can't have kids anymore and they will do yet another baby grabbing storyline and have her try to get her baby (with Billy) Johnny back since it was a Newman that killed her baby. I wish they'd leave the babys alone. The whole show is getting weird as all anyone ever does is marry and divorce each other over and over again and no one ever has to pay for their crimes!
I knew that the case against Phyllis wasn't going to have merit, they had no evidence...but still...to have Chelsea loose the baby..that was a low blow and the writers shouldn't have done that!

I agree . I'm sick of Phyllis gettin off and Summer paying for her mother's mistakes. I'm sick of the spoiled rich girl storyline. However, I do believe that Michael will forgive his brother and Adam bores me with the misunderstood role he plays. Last, Nick should date Avery. They are both similiar and should explore that.

I'm for Nick and Avery...but with Sharon now in "need" he will feel responsible for her break down and probably give her another chance! Of course, it also appears he will have to fight Adam for her!
I know this is a soap and things aren't as they are in real life...but you know...they do such horrible crimes..and get off every time...it is almost getting to the point where when a criminal issue comes up...viewers don't care! We watch the first part, get bored with it and might tune in for the final outcome...because we KNOW that the character on trial will NOT have to pay the price...so the whole thing doesn't have the impact it could have or we expect it to have....so it kind of like..why bother with the 6 months it takes for the to "solve" the issue..we know they are going to get off as soon as it happens!

Well some of the Newmans have had loses over the years. Victoria lost at least two babies and then couldn't have any more; Reed is her only child and he was taken from her thanks to Victor. Nikki lost a baby. Nick and Sharon had a teenage daughter killed in a car wreck. But you are right Newmans seldom have to pay. Adam caused Ashley to lose her baby, stole Sharon's baby and gave it to Ashley, murdered a guy at the Athletic Club and he hasn't had to pay for any of it. There really aren't any innocent people in GC but some have had to pay. Michael went to prison but somehow is now able to be DA. It is a soap that is what they do. They have them be bad for awhile, then rehabilitate them, then bad again.

you are so right stealthy! I think the thing is.. that they just seem to do worse and worse things and it is harder and harder to believe them...even in the soapy world!
