I was off today and all I have done is stay on the computer, mostly on Facebook. It's crazy just hw much time a person can put into staying a just one site. I think I spend most of my time on this site.
When I first made mine back in 2009, I didn't think I'd care about it much, but since I made one I have been on it almost everyday and it still doesn't stop.
Yes, I get on other sites too, but I always find myself getting back on Facebook way more then anything like Twitter. Facebook was here first and it can be easier to see more of what your friends are thinking then a bunch of other people, like all the stars.
If you have a facebook, do you find it addicting or just something to get on when you're bored?

Facebook is addicting.. At one point in my life I was either on facebook or one of the facebook games all day and half of the night.. A lot of my friends and family are one facebook and that is how we communicate.. but now for the most part I will only go one facebook once a day unless there is something important that I need to keep track of... I think it can be that way for any site really; it depends on the indivdual user and thier own interest..

It can be addicting but lately I'm pulling away from it more and more again. There are so many things there right now especially that have made me feel uncomfortable or rather just awkward. For instance we were just joking around on someone's status and someone else chimed in about what we were saying and how she took it so seriously and how we wouldn't be laughing if this thing happened to us, etc. Then there are other things, people bragging, etc. It can be unnerving just as it is addicting so have tried to stay away when I feel like things there aren't going too well.

I don't really feel addicted to Facebook but it has some use for me. I belong to a group with my friends from Cultural Studies and I check constantly if they posted something related to my studies. I was surprised how easily it became a habit to just log in and check a few times of a day. I do it almost automatic now so I can understand how it can be addictive for some people.
