I'm only 20 years old but I've played a lot of old school games. Arcade, Sega Genesis, NES, SNES etc. Back then games were VERY challenging, and there was no difficulty settings. You just had to be able to handle whatever the game threw at you or you wouldn't beat the game....period. But now it seems that games have gotten much easier. This is because the companies want you to be able to finish the story and move on to the next game in the series. This also makes it easier to enjoy the game and not get so frustrated. Another reason is because of casual gamers and people of all ages who want to play. Casual games are pretty easy but I enjoy them and think they are relaxing. I want to know you guys think about how the difficulty of games has changed. I guess it's ok. What about you?

I used to play a lot of games from when I was a kid well into my teenage years... Then come adulthood I began to play less and less.

Although the advancement of video games has gained popularity in the mainstream, i still prefer playing my good old, old school video games because of it's uniqueness and classic gaming levels. It doesn't brought out violence or any Parental Guidance but a game which is age friendly and the best part is it gives excitement and good fun. However, New Games in this era gives out the more high definition and three-dimensional capabilities. It wouldn't be a more successful industry without their first history video games.
