To me, there is no greater feeling than to be riding on a motorcycle. I've never learned to drive one, but I've been a passenger on quite a few. Nothing more invigorating than wind blowing in your face. How many of you mylotters have a motorcycle or have ridden on one? Please share your experience.

He he.... hi there,
Yes, it is great feeling to ride a bike. I don't own a bike but yes, i drive. I have yet to try those fat ones out there though, I have tried fast bikes and they are scary to throttle but nothing gives you the feel when driving the mean bad butt bikes out there, like the harleys. Although I would say, i am more a car person type rather than a bike person but yeah riding a bike certainly is quite more exciting sometimes with the wind blowing right in the face.
My friends are crazy, doing all the wheelie and stuff. There was this one time my friend freaked me out, I was sitting in the back and don't ask how he was driving. I was excited and scared at the same time. My, I never drive like that though.

Hi stoutjodee! I can drive a motorcycle as well. So far that is the only vehicle that we have in our family. I also enjoy it when riding a motorcycle most especially if your are the one driving. It's really fun!
However, there are times that I don't fell like riding especially when the sun is very hot.

I've ridden on a few bikes in my youth, even driven one once. But I don't like the wind in my face (find it hard to breathe), nor the noise. Woman across the street from me has one. So does her pt boyfriend. I hate it when one of them starts up their bike.
On another note, every Friday the 13th, bikers congregate in Port Dover (about a half-hour drive from here), for no particular reason. Most of them just get there, maybe have something to eat, and go home again. Others will stay and party. They come from all over, even the states.

hi,
i know to ride a motorcycle, actually we feel like flying in air, at least this was my feeling when i was in my teens, and learning riding. while learning ,the bike fell and my left leg was badly hurt. The little finger area was badly hurt and the pain didn't leave for two weeks. It was then ,i came out of my fairy land, to earth.
But we should learn riding, that's very important, at least for the present generation girls, so that we can do our work without depending on others. at least it will be useful during emergencies.

Hi,
Motorcycle are fun to ride when done in good weather. The rider can easily penetrate small streets and busy traffic at minimal cost due to reduced gasoline consumption by their small bore engines. The problem starts when driving under a pouring rain, dusty roads and searing sunlight, not to mention the limited load capability with its unstable/unprotected construction, are prone to fatal accidents at the slightest mistake.
I'd rather get a small four-wheel vehicle than drive a motorcycle if I have the chance. Of course I can drive both but I prefer the more secure mode of transportation accorded by four wheelers.

I feel I have a good time when I am on my ride on a motorcycle. I really enjoying riding when I have friends beside me. It is the time I have a lot of good time. While riding we have simple talks and just laugh and laugh and we just enjoy. It's almost a week the time I ride a motorbike. My brother is just busy with his business needs. So he needs it all the time for his needs.

Hubby used to be a rider. My dad's got bikes but when I tried to drive one my leg got burnt at the muffler. Even though my driver's license says I can drive a motorbike as well, after that incident I just got contented with being a passenger. When my husband was on his RnR here, we would go on road trips on my dad's bike while I am the one behind him. It is so much fun even if it starts to rain.

Haha. I agree with you on this. And what I know is if you know how to ride a bike, you also know how to ride a motorcycle because you know how to keep your balance. I have ridden in a motorcycle once. My brother and I agreed on going out the subdivision to test drive on the road. While I was driving on our way home, there was a car where I thought it was being parked, when the car move into the left side, I almost hit it and my chest hit the front of the motorcycle. Good thing that's the only worst thing that happened. My brother got mad to the driver because we thought he was just at the right side of the road and nobody is inside because it's not moving and we thought it was just parked. Well, we didn't have any complaints because we knew that we don't have license at that time. lol. After that, I just decided to drive a motorcycle just within the subdivision's premises. :D

Motorcycles are the best! I love to get my husband to take me on rides, especially since we live close to a national park. I don't have my own yet, but I do have my permit and I am saving to buy one. I just enjoy the feeling of freedom that you are unable to enjoy when riding in a car. It is just such a wonderful experience.
