I'm going to be a father

My wife spend few months with me since she is working overseas.Last month she spent her 1 month vacation with me.After a month she went back to her job and I was left alone again.
But it was happiness that I received a news from her that "Im gonna be a father".Shes on the way this time.
I'm so excited knowing that It was our dream to have a baby and that our prayer had been answer.Its a mix emotion I'm feelin right now.
How about you my friends how do you feel knowing your wife is pregnant and soon you gonna be a father? How does your husband react when they knew you are on the way for pregnancy?

Happiness is the best word to define what I feel right now. Hearing this news has affect my whole life and to be able to listen your wishes are really a blessing from heaven to have child.

Congrtulations!
I think everybody will be exciting when he will be a father. But please calm down, what you should do is to prepare for the new role.
You must learn to how to take care your wife, such as food, nutrition etc..
You must start to learn how to raise a baby.
In a word, you have much to do from now on.

Congratulations. That really is exciting news. Especially if the two of you have been wanting to have a child. When my husband found out I was pregnant he had mixed emotions. He was worried and excited. He wanted to make sure that he could provide for us to the best of his ability. You both will have exciting times ahead of you. How will this affect your wife's work though since she travels it seems a distance for work.

I think its normal being worried and happy for a news like this,me too have a bit worry of my wife condition because I cannot take good care of her and that was the sad part.
Now that I know I'm going to be a father I thinking how I can make a good way to be more responsible for my family.

Congratulations! Babies are gifts from heaven.
Well, as for my husband, at first he was shocked. It was really unexpected but he eventually came to accept that fact and he grew to love the baby inside me. Now, our baby is turning two years old!

Hi friend, good to hear about this happy news, as you mentioned your wife is working in overseas and you are missing her a lot. Really this kind of happy news will give more attachment to you. I have 2 sons and my wife is with me always. We are enjoying a lot with our kids, hope your wife will come back to your place soon and enjoy a lot with you. Congrats to both of you

When my hubby found out that he was going to be a father he had mixed emotions.. We suffered three miscarrages prior to that.. And the last one was a couple months prior to the news.. I was already a month along before he found out.. We were much like in your situation; he was an over the road truck driver so he would come home once a month for a couple days and then off again.. I know he called me all of the time.. If he had it his way we would stay on the phone until it was time to go to bed.. When he would come home we would work together to get things ready for the baby.. He was really worried about being a father at his age, 55.. Our son was his first.. So he was very much in your shoes.. He was worried about the future; we were not living in the best condititons for a baby.. We also had a four year old running around, he was excited too.. My hubby was worried that our other child would either wear me out to the point that maybe I would lose this one too.. Thankfully that didnt happen.. Congrats Hope all is going well for your wife;-)

That was said, 3 miscarriages but I'm glad you have succeed to conceive with these kids with you now.
Its hard to be apart from each other especially this kind of situation but sometimes we don't have choice the only thing we can do is to pray for the best of everyone and for the safety of whole family. I'm very much worried about my wife too.But praying she can cope up with all the changes in her pregnancy.

Congratulations! Being a father means an added responsibility on your part. As early as now, make sure you are prepared on how to raise your child and make efforts in being the best father when your baby comes to this world.
When my husband learned I was expecting, I don't think he was much pleased, coz we were still 3 months away from graduation. But I assume that he also became excited coz he was only 23 years old that time.

Congratulations..
I understand that you have mixed emotions. In reality, your life will be changed totally. But, I know you're happy and you're proud and you'll always do your best for your family. Maybe you should consider not working overseas. It's important that family stays together especially for your coming child.
