I have friends who moved to Alabama in July from Wisconsin becasue the husband got a promotion in his line of work. Now the whole family is moving to New Jersey! Starting this weekend! Emily,my friend, wants to do this because ofher dad. He is retired and having health issues lately. So they are moving near her parents! Davis, the husband,is switching jobs! Same company but now his job will be in New Jersey! This is totally nuts! I know I could not do it! They sound like a military family! Yikes!

I was just watching one of my favorite shows on cable. Its called Flipping out and it is about this designer who will buy a house, fix it up and then sell it. He was just explaining to his partner why he is doing it again. I hate to move. I moved out of my daughter's apartment a couple of years back due to her manic phase and family dysfunctionality. Now I am back. I hated those moves. Now if I was moving into some lovely home or something it would be cool. These folks you speak of do sound like a military family. I guess they are trying to find their nitch. Or his.

I don't know what these people's deal is! Maybe they are trying to find their nitch! Maybe the husband just is! Whatever the reason I would not go for it! I would flip out and not feel comfortable doing it! I am a creature of habit! I have only moved 3 times in my life! I hated it and I am a nester!
I don't know how college students do it! At the college I work at some students have to move to different dorms in the summer and back to their old dorms when school starts! Some live off campus and seem to move like ever school year or more!I'm freaking out just thinking about it! Glad I don't have to do that!

I don't know how people do it either. I hate it. I am glad I haven't had to except that once afew years back. I can see if you upgrade and have to move but rather than that it is just rediculous.

Well I am thankful that I never experience this moving out thing. From one place to another and move out again.Quite tiring for me,I guess.
I guess for the sake of family that's why they moved again.I think it is okay for the sake of the family.

I know I could not do this! I would go nuts! I can't see how people can do this! I have moved only 3 times in my life and I don't want to do for a very, very long time! I like to a nester and be a creature of habit! Take me out of my element I become a person I don't like! It is not a pretty thing!

My daughters are married to military men and I don't know how they do it....I like being a nester....and staying in my own little nest....not moving around to different towns and into strange houses.....but my girls don't mind a bit. They think of it as an adventure!

I don't know how people who do it do it! It would not be for me!Hats off to the people who like it! I would flip out for sure! I am a nester myself! I have moved only 3 times in my life! I am a creature of habit! If my world is turned upside down I am not a person who adapts very well to new things!
