Yesterday while I was at GSIS, Pasay City, there happened to be a girl who said that she was there to make a survey and interview mothers in the vicinity. At first, I declined but she begged because she needed 11 more interviewees for that day. I just finished my transaction with said office and I just ate hotdog sandwich for lunch at 2:00 p.m. Finally, I agreed because she told me that it will not take more than 5 minutes. First, she let me test 2 brands of all purpose cream which are not known to me. Then she asked me to rate the test, creaminess, appeal, etc. both products. Then she let me taste 2 small cups of fruit salad which were using both products separately. Then same evaluation. After that she gave me the salad and a box of cheese. LOL that was my prize for the interview. I ate the salad and I was so full.

about a month ago, a survey girl was at the gate. when she said it was about fastfood outlets, i obliged since i figured it's an easy topic. what i didn't count on was how looong it was. my back of my left leg actually ached afterwards. had i known, i should have let her in so we can sit on the metal chairs under the jackfruit tree. it never occurred to me to ask how much long it will take since she was constantly asking, writing, and showing her visual aids. she gave me a big reusable bag afterwards. to be honest, i feel sorry for them. what they do is hard work. they're exposed to the elements and they carry a lot of stuff. they have to find the people that fits the demographics given and they're expected to produce good results. but many people are wary of them or will quit midway. so what i do is i ask them a lot of questions to verify if they're legit and if my gut feel is positive and i know or like the topic, i help. i'm glad that fruit salad helped to fill you up so you didn't have to eat again before going home because i know a hotdog isn't enough for me and i'd probably faint on the way home!

Yes, the persons conducting the survey really have hard times doing it. There are those who will not entertain them and they have to interview a number of interviewees a day.

Lucky you! It doesn't happen that often that someone comes to you to give a free taste not unless you were in the supermarket. Coz , really it night be a little dangerous to be taking in food from strangers, right? It's a good thing that you were feeling fine after the taste test.

I haven't thought of that. It's just now when you mentioned it. OMG she was a complete stranger. Yes I felt fine after the tasting. Thanks for reminding me for that.

Hi friend, good to hear about this eating interview. I think you are lucky to attend this kind of interviews. Send that girl to our place, we are interested in taking part in this kind of interesting interviews. Here we are facing a lot of surveys, but none of the survey persons offer this kind of food as well as gift to us

That was really the first time that I had encountered that kind of interview. All I experienced was tasting the products in malls and supermarkets.

That is a great prize for only a little time in your day. I live fruit salad, so would have done it. My family would have been happy to see cheese, as its really high in this area.

Yes, it took only about 5 minutes for the interview and took more time to eat all the salad. Wish more interviews will come.

I wish all those interviews I granted before also gave me some food, haha! That was nice of her, although I am sure that you "earned" it and helped her at the same time.

Maybe you can meet one of these days. It was not expected really. What I always experience are test taste of products at the malls, such as coffee, instant noodles, et..

You are so lucky! Well, I had joined the survey when at college. The survey is about the soap, the best fragance from all the fragance which offered. Actually I didn't expected I'll get the contract as the responden for that survey after I had joined the preliminary survey. I have been chosen and get quite nice pay for joining the survey. It's nice money and if I counted it it'll be about $100 in total for joining all those surveys. Too bad I haven't encountered something like that anymore. But it's so nice to have some kind experience in it.

That's good. In this survey, I will not be contacted anymore because she only asked my name and age, no address and phone numbers.
