Its not easy to learn every programming language..Its depend on personal taste in syntax. Every language has its own methodology. I recommend you to learn both languages because If you want to go in development field then it's necessary that you have knowledge of 2,3 programming language because development field is upgraded every day with the new and latest technology. C++ is the core of object oriented programming language. If you have expertise in C++ then it's easier for you to learn Java because the syntax and functionality is very related.. C++ is a more powerful language and you can create any type of application with it while Java is more flexible and portable language to use. To learn Java You need to understand inheritance and polymorphism and other OOPS concept. It's true that there are lots of jobs available for a Java developer, but you can also find a good job with good salary if you have enough knowledge of other programming languages. All The Best..

My husband is a programmer and he knows both java and C++. But perhaps he is good at java much more. I remember he ever said if you knew C++, you could do anything. So I guess C++ may be much more useful, but it is also difficult.
