dear friends : are you afraid of dogs ?
if your answer is "yes "
dont be afraid of the dog ,it will not hurt you ,try to make friends with him ,they just like humans friendly ,at one time i make the elevator meet a puppy , he saw people are darking ,it was scared to death ,all the people are drived him ,ont only did him stop darking ,still darking , just a moment i leaned down to touched him he was so well-behaved and cute ,im not afraid of a little ,he was like a baby girl by my touch ,the moment i think i fell in love with him.

Unfortunately, not all dogs are friendly and some dogs will bite, especially if they don't know a person or they feel crowded. If a dog is not socialized well, it may bite. So just blindly saying not to be afraid of dogs can end up being a dangerous statement. Children, especially, need to be taught how to properly and safely approach a dog, when and when not to approach a dog, etc. A lot of people are afraid of dogs because they have been bitten themselves.
Personally I love dogs and have had many dogs as pets. However I know enough about how to approach a dog that does not know me, how to approach a dog who is on a leash compared to a dog who is loose, etc. Dogs have their signals that we all need to learn how to listen to so that we can enjoy them as well as stay safe and keep them safe too.

Yes I have a dog, a ShihTsu that is estimated to be about 9 years old. He was rescued from going to a dog shelter where they put animals to sleep if no one claims them after a certain time. He bites, or tries to bite, if anyone approaches him too quickly, or approaches his food. Actually he doesn't bite hard but it is more of a warning to leave him alone and leave his food alone. But overall he is a very good dog. He has a lot of fears.
However, there are dogs that will do a lot of damage and will bite, especially biting children who have not been taught well how to behave around dogs they don't know well. Not all dogs are friendly. Many dogs are trained as watch dogs and you would not want to just walk up and try to touch a dog such as that.
