In Spain, students used the summer holidays of almost three month to work that time to earn and save some money. (Now, with the financial crisis, it might be quite difficult.) In Germany, there are minijobs and part-time ones occupied often by students, some of them work at night time or on weekends. So there are some countries where it's not a problem. But, I don't know if there are countries where it might be forbidden. So, if the law allows it and if you have enough time to study and to work, why not!?
