"Health is wealth". This is very common catchphrase advertising about how important to be healthy. Healthy body is important to attain our goal in life. It gives good physical appearance, good feeling, and helps us perform well at work. To take care of our health we should choose the right and healthy food, proper exercise and enough sleep. I am starting to take better care of myself. I have seen some people's health deteriorate and it isn't some thing I'd like to have to live through myself when that happens. It is difficult but i try to do a little at a time. Like I go for walks pretty often now and I don't drink as much soft drinks. I drink more water now and I eat less than I used to. These are good things but I know there is much more to work at.

Hello Walking is a good form of exercise. It can trim our waistline, and improve your health. Keep it up! I also try to avoid soft drinks, but sometimes I'm tempt to drink whenever I'm with my friends..:( Yeah, there is much more to work at. Thank you for sharing..

Walking is also not hard on our joints like jogging or running could be. Try not to give into those temptations of soft drinks when with your friends, it can be hard not to but it is your will power.

A good health is always more important wealth. Without a good health, there are many things we cannot do in life. Just like an old saying, "Where there is health, there is life". That is why health is very important for us to accomplish things we want to do in life. Another popular saying, "When we are young, we use our health to pay for our wealth; When we are old, we use wealth to pay for our health". But we do not want to be like that, we want to have a healthy body. I grow up in a family where all of us are trained to live healthily by eating healthy food. My mother use to buy organic vegetables, eggs, fruits for us to eat. As you know, the world today just want to do business to make more money, and some care less for the consumers' health. Many food are being fake, grown in abnormal situation in order to produce large quantities, pesticides are used to maintain it's freshness, and some even have added chemicals. And these causes much damage to our health in long term when we consume it. Well, we do not know how good organic food is, but at least there should be some testing being done before it is qualified to be categorized as organic. Also doing regular exercise helps to burn fats and keep our breathing and blood circulation healthy. For those who are busy working can do simple exercise like sit-ups 3 to 5 times a day. The amount can increase slowly daily up to 20 times a day depending on each person stamina. This sit-ups not only burn your tummy fats, but also strengthens your abdomen. Another simple way is by walking up and down the stairs as much as you can depends on your energy and strength. Doing housekeeping also is a good way to exercise because you will sweat all out. Keep yourself in good health is also to sleep early because your body needs sufficient rest. Of course, it is recommended for you to sleep 7 to 8 hours daily. However, the ideal time we must be sleeping is from 11pm to 5am. This is to help our body recharge and perform at its best the next day. Let's take good care for our health!

Hello joycsee Very informative. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I agree with you that nowadays many food are being fake, that's why we should be very careful. They are trying to use chemicals on to have fresh and healthy with out thinking that about consumers health. Eating health foods, regular exercise and have a sufficient sleep will make us healthy. Well, I am sick right now, so I don't know how well I am taking care of myself. Before I got sick, I was doing just fine. I do try to eat right and exercise everyday.

Hello It's disappointing sometimes that no matter how hard we try to keep healthy still in the end we are failure. Have some vitamins,like vitamin C or any other supplements. Don't give up continue eating the right food. Thank you and have a great day..:)

I have to admit that I am not taking good care of my health for one hundred percent though I have been trying to. Once I sit down to work in the office of next to my laptop, I usually sit for a long time before I start to move around for some walk. I lack of enough physical exercise. Health is happiness and health is wealth. I must take good care of my health for myself and for my family. Thanks for the good discussion.

Hello Same with you I also work 8 hours a day in the office and sit in the computer in a long period of time. I make a goal that instead of using elevator I take the stairs in the morning and in the afternoon. My office in on the 5th floor so it's a good exercise..:) Yes, health is happiness and our wealth so we must take good care for our own good and for our loved ones. You can do it! hi lit, I don't think that I am that conscious about my health cause I don't have an exercise like what I do before, and I sleep so late but I am avoiding some food that is not that healthy like some soda or junk food. happy mylotting

Hello bhabycatch013 Thanks for sharing. Same with you I'm also avoiding unhealthy foods but sometimes I failed to do so. I love eating junk foods especially while I'm at home watching my favorite TV Program or while I'm traveling..:) Have a great weekend..^_^

Yes, taking care of one's Health is important and often times most people fail to think of the importance of doing so until something Bad happens to them in their life. Then hopefully it is not too late. But we need to remember to Eat right, get enough sleep, and go into a Doctor for check ups once in a while as well. That way we are on top of everything going on and be aware of what things we might need to treat to prevent something major hopefully happening in the future as well.

Recently I realize that my health is getting worse. First of all, my weight grows continuously and I have belly fatness due to sedentary behaviour. "Couch-potatoes have short lives". I am afraid of it becoming reality. Secondly, while the weather is getting cold, I have to wear the sweater and still feel chilly. However, some old people only wear the short sleeve T-shirt or qipao, which make me so surprised and ashamed. So I decide to make proper exercise every two days, eat more fruit than meat and maintain 7 hours to sleep as far as possible. Although the habit is hard to change, but the effort must be made to be healthy and slim.

Hello lini000 Sometimes cold weather makes us lazy to move or to do some exercise. It's good to know that you are now taking good care of your health. Just continue doing exercise, eating fruits and vegetables. I know it's a little hard but if you have determination to do I'm sure you will succeed. It's worth it! Thank you for sharing..^_^

I always try my best to eat healthy, to drink lots of water and to get my much needed exercise. I want to lose a few more pounds and I want to tone my arms, other than that I am thankful that I haven't been sick aside from the comon colds, a few bouts of flue and LBM. Nothing major. I am already in my late twenties so I also try to make sure to have enough sleep (even though lately I've been sleeping less) as I am no longer that young wherein I can easily recover from sleepless nights.
