Hmmm, I really don't know.. last I knew anything requiring math (or science) was a good field to get into because many just were not! This may have changed however. I do think you have the right idea about researching the actual amount of job opportunity there will be. I know here in the u.s. right now we have a huge problem of people graduating from college only to not find jobs available in their fields, but that is because government is getting too involved in the economy and are messing things up!

Its rumor, IT professionals have much scope as u can see in immigration policy of different countriies. Network engineers have more scope than any other fields of IT, specially in GULF

I think that the IT job is still a good choice. As today we all depend on the computer. If you are good at it, even if you can't be a software engineer, you can still find other jobs easily.

Okay, I got disconnected after posting that message above. Here is the rest of it - software engineering is not an outdated field and still the in thing. It is here to stay. But then you have to be great in Mathematics and Logic in case you are planning to get into it - You did mention that you are not good in Mathematics - so be watchful of that in case you plan to join this stream.

I can very well understand dear. These days, parents are more expecting from their kids and also the competition is much tougher. Though I am not quite well aqare of what you are and how things are at your place, but definitely, the BBA and BS in computer science is good combo. however once you are through, you would definitely have to choose one for the masters. I would prefer the MBA as the scopes and choices of careers are more as compared to the MS in Computer Sciences. i can say this because I have been a career consultant too and i have seen students doing better with MBA as we have more career options with that stream here. I hope the above suggestion is of use to you dear friend

"Software Engineering Field is very bad", that's not true! All my classmates in high shool chose the software engineering in the colleage are getting high pay now. And we can compare the salary now, the software guy gets alwayse the highest payment within one company. If all over the people know how to develop the software, how can you get so decent income? It is an evidence that this society need the software expert. If you want to be something in this field, please act asap., time is money just pick up your book to learn it.
