Regarding Obama's performance, he was at least awake for this one but of course showed himself to be just as dishonest as he has always been. He has passed blame around, lied about the last four years, and still had nothing to offer for the next four years.

In my opinion, studying another country's politics can be very difficult. You are not living in it so sometimes it is hard to put it into context. Also there is so much history that go into explaining a government. But your willingness and eagerness to learn is great! Regarding US politics, it is VERY important to get info from multiple sources. Our own citizens do not do this and are more likely to not really know what is going on. Unfortunately our media is so biased, you have to really do your research.

Cnn says Obama was better than the first one. I hope so. I thought he was bad the other time. Even still I dont want any one of them to win.

Obama was quite aggressive and at times rude. Romney pushed back ..they were both quite aggressive and it surprised just about everyone since typically a Townhall setting is mild. These guys confronted each other and both had 'in your face' moments..LOL it was actually rather interesting to watch but to some extent reminded me of bullys on a playground.
Obama came out fighting and I think it forced Romney to push back since otherwise Obama would walk all over him. It appeared neither really like the other and actually didn't respect each other either...
The moderator Candy Crowley interferred where she should not have.
I think the base of each will claim victory..fact checkers are finding fault with comments from both.
The real test of winning this debate will come in my opinion from the trend in women voters and Independents..the next few days will tell us more...
Monday will be the 3rd debate and I bet it will have some fireworks too
