Yesterday my friend took my mobile handset and found 3-4 details such as handset model, its date of manufacturing etc. by pressing some numbers, but not revealed me.
What the number he requested to get the details?
Friends, please help me.

Nokia and Most of the mobile phones having those feature. It's very useful information when we buy 2nd hand mobiles. The first user usage of the phone how much time they used to talk. It's having different codes we can even format nokia mobiles by put this code's if it's a symbian version phone. It's really cool codes.
Example codes :

Serial no : #06#
Manufacture detail and usage : #92702689#
Bluetooth No : #2820#
etc.

hi friend..
if your handset is nokia, you must try this code, type on first screen on handset. *#0000# for check your mobile firmware and date, type *#06# to check your imei number, type 21# to check your saved number in your simcard

Now there are many companies who manufactures may new mobile phones with new software and new specifications and each of them are designed with certain codes that would give the details or information of the phone and for getting each information the phone is designed with specific code.
For knowing the serial number of Nokia mobile phone just dial *#06#, for knowing about the information about the phone dial *#0000#. These code changes for the mobile which is manufactured by other than Nokia.
