Commitment

In life we have lots of commitments from day to day, week to week, year to year.. As time passes commitments change and priorites in turn change too.. Life experinces change or challenge the way we think and what we believe is most important. My main commitment in life is to my children; keeping them safe, teaching them and having as much fun as we can along the way.. I didnt realize how devoted I was until tonight.. A good friend of mine made a comment; saying that you are always saying or doing something for your boys.. The first thing that came to my mind was duh I have kids thats the way it is suppose to be.. But then I mentally looked around and realized that it is not always the case.. It is sad in my opinion; I believe children are our gifts from God.. They are to be cherished and have devoted parents.. Willing to move heaven and Earth if neccersary..
Maybe it is my personal up bringing or as a young adult watching other parents and seeing stuff that I felt to be wrong so I am changing that within myself.. Or it could be my mom (auntie), in a short time she taught me life... Then current events have totally altered my commitments...
To all of mylotters; I know we all have several commitments in our lives.. If you were only able to choose one what would it be?

Try to be as honest with all those that are in my life. Not always easy to do. Thing is if we are not, as my grandmother told us, that truth will bite you in the a s s at a time you least expect it. So best way to beat that is to be honest in the first place. Grandma you were so right...

Friend you title is very short you can write do you ready for commitment or Is it right life is depends only on commitments etc. Dont feel annoy I am suggesting because if title is elaborated in short then persons more interested to read the discussion.
Your contents is good but title is very short. You are right in life lots of commitments but not fulfill all. Most of the person wants to live alone so not ready for doing the commitment. Ohhh this is difficult question for me I cant explain my commitments.

Thank you for your advice for next time.. Yes there are a lot of things in life that we have to do on a daily basis and it can be diffcult to break it down and decide what is most important..

I could not think of anything else but to devote my time for my children. I think everything else means less or nothing at all without my children with me.

I totally agree my children are my life... At least for now.. I understand that they grow a little more every day and one day I will have to watch my boys leave my nest and spread their wings into the real world.. So I cherish the time that we have right now...

its really hard to have many commitments in life because its like having responsibility in life,for me as of now i have a commitment to my mother that i will finish this year to build our house as our new business and sooner will be our home.
