I had to unfriend a girl from my facebook friends list because she really annoyed me. She was so annoying I wanted to tell her that but I also didn't want to be mean so I just unfriend her. (haha I think that's mean too.)She was so vain. She likes taking pictures of her flawless face (I'm being sarcastic) and uploads them every 10 minutes! Like she uploads pictures more than 30 times a day and there just the same!! I'm not pretty but at least I'm not vain. Do you have friends like that? I really find it annoying so at first I had to unsubscribe from her feeds then she would still appear in my page because some of my friends would comment on her photos. And here is something funny, one guy commented on her picture and said "Yakkk", and she said "I'm pretty and I know it"! Hahaha For heaven's sake. I should send her a mirror on Christmas! Hahaha. If someone tells me I'm insecure I would definitely punch you in the face! Hahaha I'm not and I will never be. :D

Sounds like she's the one who is insecure, not vain. Haha. This post did make me giggle a bit, but I can understand your frustration. Been there, done that. And you were right to unfriend her instead of causing problems. It was the smart thing to do. I actually went through this exact same issue last night. I had to unfriend a girl because she is so insecure, she tries to come off as conceited and vain. Haha. Plus she is just a BIT**!! hahaha!! But you seem like a much better, and more sensible person than some of those people in the world. :)

I had a similar experience but with my best friends sister, she has everything, home, car, loving attentive boyfriend, money and a plum job and she likes to boast and every day I had her on my facebook page telling all her friends how happy she is etc etc.. Now I have little to no self esteem and it was like rubbing salt in the wounds, so I actually did a discussion because I didn't know much about facebook and if you do defriend people they are NOT notified, so ha ha! Now she is gone, you did the right thing, who needs that kind of person around in your life?

Exactly I would not want a friend who would make me feel like nothing and down and a loser every single day! Hahaha I don't need friends like that! Hahaha Especially on facebook! Hahaha

Oh tell me about it. I have a friend in that list who would post photos of herself in 360 degrees! I had to unsubscribe to her account and told her that I was unsubscribing to her posts because I am annoyed with her photos of the same position! - YES, I TOLD IT TO HER FACE!
I think someone needed to tell her before she ruined herself. Now, I don't know if she still keeps on doing that, but heck at least I had my piece with her - we're still friends now.
Have a great mylot experience ahead!

Hahaha that's so funny thanks for sharing haha. But honestly I can't do that! Hahaha I would rather keep my mouth shut than tell her that to her face! But I admire you for the courage! Hahaha. Well this Ms. Vain I'm talking about, she posts pictures of her face - left side, right side, sometimes from the top exposing her wide forehead, and imagine sometimes the back of her head! So ridiculous!!! Hahaha and I hate how she pouts her lips in every picture! Hahaha

This seems to be a very common scenario. It's like loads of album full of the person's picture. But I do have pictures of my own vanity as well, hahha yet not that much. We could often say that we should mind our own business but the fact that its quite disturbing then better just advice anyone close to her to give the person a cue that its beyond the normal. Vanity I gues on a level that is manageable is good, it shows that you are proud of yourself raising your self esteem but too much vain in you could be something to be dealth with.

I met this Ms. Vain once through a common friend. She is nice but there is something in her that makes me think she is boastful and I don't know how to say it, but like she always shows off (as what you term it) and she craves for attention from other people. Hahaha

hahahaha.Seems like you're really annoyed. But facebook is there for everyone. You can't stop anybody from uploading their pictures.I think it's a right move that you just unfriended her from your contact list if you can't stand seeing her face.

hahaha Yep totally I was super annoyed! But now I can browse though my facebook wall without being worried of seeing her face again! Hahaha I'm so mean. I know it's for everybody and every one has the right to upload or say anything they want to say but sometimes (in my own opinion), being that super vain isn't really good. I wouldn't mind if she is really pretty but she is not! Hahaha Anyways there is an "unfriend" option and I thought it was the best thing to do so I did! Hahaha Nice my facebook is peaceful and more beautiful than ever! hahaha

Relax, Joanessee.
I do have Facebook friends who are fond of broadcasting every little thing they do. They do not annoy me -- yet
I also have an FB friend who posts "dark humor". He is so unhappy, I have yet to see anything positive posted by him. I did not 'unfriend' him, I just unsubscribed from his posts.
Have a nice day!

you can unsubscribe to their updates, instead of un friend her.
whatever it is, friendship depends on the priority and mutual understanding.
if we are honest then the relationship will be more fruitful.

Well at first I did that. I actually unsubscribed to her feeds because I thought that time it would be the best thing to do. But her feeds would still show in my page whenever a common friend would comment on her photo and it made me ever more annoyed so I just decided to unfriend her. Hahaha

I have vain friends and I think I'm also a bit vain in a way. I just don't usually show it and I don't really like posting a lot of my pictures because I don't really think it's necessary. It's also because I'm a bit shy. I change my profile picture from time to time when I get a decent photo. Hahaha! I remember one time my friend flooded our Facebook news feed with her sharing of something related to her idol. She wanted to win something that was being given away which requires sharing it in Facebook. Hahaha! I thought there was some bug on my account because I kept scrolling and scrolling and it her post just won't stop. Hahaha! We're close friends so I didn't feeli like getting amd at her because I know her personality. She's really just a huge fan.

That's so funny. There are a lot of people like that on facebook. That's why i don't visit facebook often. I only go there when a friend would send a message to check her postings or when a family member would tell me that they have posted some important photos.
I don't check on people's feed so as not to get annoyed. That really is very annoying. My friend and i discussed about that the other night and we both laughed how people would post their own photo every minute or every single day.

I am on facebook 24 hours a day hahaha. I don't really post much stuff on fb but I always want to be updated about my best friends and some close friends. They're sure not annoying. But this one girl just couldn't stop posting pictures of the same poses. Hahaha

Some people can really be so overconfident. I can't help but laugh at what you just narrated.
Imagine posting pictures of his face or uploads pictures more than 30 times. Isn't that pure vanity !
Good that you unfriend her. And good that someone said YUKKS!

That is annoying. There was someone annoying me on facebook like that it was a niece. She kept answering questions about me and some of the stupid ridiculous questions she was answering yes. She thought it was funny and I asked her about it. One in particular. She said I didn't know what the word meant. I told her from now on don't answer no questions about me on facebook. I told her that if she answered one more I would unfriend her. I have considered many times closing my account out because of annoyances, but I didn't. I just quit going in there. I only go in facebook now when I get an e-mail alerting me to a message from a friend I'd like to talk to. I don't blame you for unfriending her. I know that's what facebook is for, but some people go overboard. Great discussion.

ohhh that's not right! Even she was my niece I would still unfriend her! Haha. If she didn't know what the word meant then she better just stopped! Oh are you talking about the 21 questions application? I hated it with a passion. One friend answer a question about me too and she answered wrong and it made me super mad and I really felt insulted and even some of my friends made fun of me for that (even if it was only a joke), I was hurt. So I blocked that friend haha. I'm so glad facebook has block and unfriend options! haha Sometimes I enjoy using them! Hahaha.

I do not have any friends on my facebook like that. And if there was a case that a friend started doing that I do not think I would be able to keep that person on my list.. There comes a point that pride can get in the way of everything else and you end up losing everything.. Your old friend is learning that, the hard way.. I do not think it was wrong or mean to just unfriend her.. I am not sure if you blocked her completely but if she tries to message her are you going to explain why you unfriended her?

Actually it is not mean. In everyone's network there is usually someone who is annoying and usually it is because they have a "Me, me, me" attitude and they are always in your face. Un-friending may be the best approach. One thing is for sure you do not need them cluttering up you life.

Everybody has one of this type of girls in his list. For exemple, I have a girl on my list who is really stupid. The sad thing is that girl don't know that she are so stupid. She post famous quotes that thinks she understands, many pictures(she isn't pretty) and a lot of stuff. The solution for this problem is to ignore her. It's easy. I do this. You could this. It looks like you did this and you should not have too many pangs of conscience.
