I always investigate a site before joining it ----

Investigation is the best before we join an earning programs. Look for latest payment proofs and talk to admin about the site if they are willing to pay or not. You can also talk to your friends online for more information or investigation. Keep on searching legitimate sites until you will be paid. I only join legitimate sites that really pays me.

I also investigate on forums, also myLot, investigation sites. Than I join and see if there is worth to be and if is some posibility to earn money, when I got first payment, and be sure by myself that site is legit than I also invest some money. If there is chance to earn more with that.

Me too! I usually investigate first before joining on any other online jobs just to make sure that it's a legit online job. :)

Hi Maria, I also do that,but you cannot always believe what the online sites say.Remember this is the internet,anyone can say anything.If I were mad at an ex-boyfriend and wanted to hurt him I could go in and post that the company he worked for ripped me off. About 4 years ago I was renting a home that the owner was going to lose to foreclosure and I wanted to find a way to buy it with my bad credit.I found a place on line that would loan me the money if I opened an account with them.I had to put $1,000 in my account.That was most of my rent that month.But,I figured that would be ok because I would be getting it back with the loan money. I checked the loan company out online as well as calling the better business bureau and the company checked out as being reputable and had processed many loans.So,I filled out the forms,sent them the money and called them a few times before and after I did that.Then after I did it i never received the loan money or the account papers.I called them and kept getting their voice mail.I left several messages.I never got a reply and then found out that they had moved from their address.

With so many sites scamming people, it is really a must that we do some 'investigation' before joining. Friends are for me the best way of knowing whether a site is a good one to sign up on. I mean, aside from them being members already, as they are our friends, they wouldn't consciously refer a site that would only scam us. Forums and discussion sites are also great sources of information even if we might not know the people there personally. And like you, I also find valuable tips here on myLot on whether to join some site or not

I also investigate them. And like you said MyLot and the other site are great ways to ask questions about a certain site we are looking to join. I do have many sites that I work with right now. So I am much more selective these days before I join a new site.
