Anyone heard if the manga would continue or it's completely abandoned already. I really love that manga albeit the very dark concept. I've read from some reviews that the magazine that previously release X1999 has stopped publishing already, given that situation does it follow that the rights to release to another magazine be prohibited? I'm shooting on stars here because I really wanted to know the ending of the manga, which is according to what I've read over the net is completely different form how the anime and movie had ended (haven't watched both, so I don't have any idea).
Hopefully I get some information here.

The manga has been on hiatus for almost a decade now and the likelihood of CLAMP actually completing it gets slimmer and slimmer as the years go by. I believe the reason it went on hiatus in the first place was because the story was so dark and violent. I remember that it was a very controversial thing. As for your question, I don't think it's prohibited for the series to be published somewhere else. The problem is whether or not the company wants to take the risk. I also want to know the conclusion for the story. Those last few chapters that I recalled reading really left you hanging. Sorry, I wasn't much help. There just hasn't been any news about X/1999 in years.

The theme of the manga is undeniably dark, but I would have hoped that they release an ending for it. It's really disappointing for those who have read and followed the manga for a long time and then all of a sudden they wouldn't know what happened to the characters. All the hope that they will have a rally good ending for this manga :(

It is ending already dear this manga don't abandon but for me I think they complete already.
anyway this manga is good manga and also they seem Okay in anime version too.
