Surprises While Mylotting

Hi there! I just can't understand why certain people from certain country can be so funny, one day i was doing my normal mylotting, this old troll came out of nowhere and uninvited began to provoke me with his overbearing hubristic comment that i am a moron and 'ALL' my responses are full of sexism and shallow statements, asking me whether do i understand this word and that word etc... . I just can't laugh my a*s off why this troll want to go through all my responses in mylot, he must have nothing much better to do in his time here.
Mylot is for people to respond to each other discusssion and converse in a civil manner, not insulting. Just remember another person can have a different view from yours, If you can't accept a difference point of view, you shouldn't post any discussion in Mylot, and should go somewhere else for your discussion, OR if you think that just because you are old , your view should be accepted by everyone in Mylot as the only truth, you must be out of your aging mind. Have you ever encountered such amusing person while mylotting, you can share with us now.

I have never come across such people. it is funny but see the mentality of the person. he really has nothing better to do in this world. It is good to be polite and understand what the initiator wants to say and share. there are deeper meaning to it because most of it is their lives experiences. I agree with you, my friend! I assume he is a retiree and has too much free time in his hand, so he go around Mylot try to provoke people who has different view than him. I think i will avoid posting response in such a hard head discusssion next time since he can't accept other members point of view except those agree with him.

lampar you are just too kind as he will keep getting his kicks or whatever he gets from trying to provoke you into flaming him,. no always report this kind of troll to mylot admins please..He is not here to enjoy mylot but to hurt and antagonize us. i

I have come across someone like that. When I first joined it would bother me a lot but now I just laugh and ignore it like it never happened. I am not giving them the satisfaction of getting a reaction from me. They apparently have nothing better to do with their time or life! Sad...

I suppose there are trolls everywhere on the internet though I didn't expect for their to be any trolls on my lot.Everybody I have came a cross on my lot has been really polite and willing to listen to the views of others.That person really doesn't understand what my lot is all about.The best bit about my lot is its feeling of community.Created by the politeness of discussions and the openness with which people can share their thoughts and feelings.Let's hope he learns what my lot is really about and starts making a constructive contribution.

reporting them will allow mylot to know whats going on
and correct the same. most all people I have dealt with
here are kind and caring not mean at all.I hope that
troll has been banned from mylot as we don't need someone always negating all our posts.

I agree with that, start making constructive comment and stop harassing others with insult, troll like this may well never ceased to exist on the internet but i do hope it ceased from Mylot, i did notify the admin. of his nonsense. Thank for the response.

I sure hope so, Hatley, it is such a turn off from someone like that while mylotting, i just hope that admin. will teach him a lesson instead of me, since i am too young for his age, he may not be able to stomach that if getting a lesson from me.

Hello Lampar, the days of the trash talking in mylot is over and doesn't work or the post can't last a day with out being reported first. probably some guy who was gone once in a while and then comes back to trash you. the real threat now for most lotters are the nega negative raters who wants and likes to bring down your star for their own benefit. though am glad the rating has been set to limited i still can't believe such scenario can happen even to you.

I am doubtful about that, friend! This bloke is saying 'ALL' my responses are sexism, shallow, moronic, discriminatory etc... it is kind of a funny way to categorise my responses. If that is the case like you think, that must be an unique and one of kind way to learn new words. The main reason i think is because he doesn't like my response to one of his recent discussion that challenge his distorted information about US government. That piss him off from the comfort of his kangaroo land. Thank for the response.

Well, that can't be helped, some people really roll like that. But thankfully I advent encountered someone like that here, I do get some people who tend to read a lot in what I say here even though it is just simple and there's no more to it than what I just replied. Usually when I am being challenged in that way, I would reply once or twice to clear my side, just to give chance to that person because maybe he or she isn't just understanding me. But after a very simple explanation and I am still being "flamed" for something that I didn't say, or they imagined that I said, I just rest my case and drop the matter. Not because I let them win or something but it's not just worth my while to explain to those who are closed-minded. Besides, I have other "friends" here who posts discussions that are more fun to engage in. So yeah, just laugh about it, you're not the one who's riled up anyway.

hi lampar well now old t roll may sound funny but it he is insulting you. you know you must re port that as my lot is not a place to fight with others at all. Y es he sounds like a bit of a fool to go through all your posts just to make mean comments to
you. turn him in and report all nasty responses from him.
mylot does not want that kind of crap to mar us from enjoying and having fun here. He might be banned and thats their business. we
do not need trolls here at all.
I am old but I do not expect my point of view to be accepted by all as differences are what make mylot a fun place as long
as we respect each other we can agree to disagree and have f un and learn new things doing it., sometimes I see something from the others viewpoint and learn something new so its really fun to not always have every one agreeing with me. we can always learn from each other but not e er with hostility, that does not fly here lampar,.

hi, Hatley, may be this old troll is lack of wisdom like you, he may well think he known them all because he is an old man who live in a country that is more advance compare to many others. You sure sound like a lot smarter than your old age, at least you known that it is fun and normal to have different views while mylottting in your discusssion, one shouldn't take it too personal and go on insulting other member in this way. You have the right attitude, way to go, my friend, i sure can learn a lot from you this time

I have today come across a person that was amused over doing something so wrong and i couldnt believe that this person actually started a discussion over something so bad that he did at a bar with friends. I was so surprised at was he was saying in his discussion and how he thought what he did was funny. my response might not have been so nice but i couldnt just read it and not respond either because i felt as if i had something to say to the person that started the discussion.
I also see other peoples views on here and most of the time my views seem to be so different but thats why we are on here to write about what we think and what we believe is correct when we write here on mylot.
I like your post and i hope you keep coming out wtih good ones for me to write about.

Hi, lologirl! I assume that is the reason majority of people posted a discussion in mylot is to get responses and talk about 'thing', one shouldn't take it too personal just because the responder is having a different view point and 'see' on issue, it is just funny anyone will take a response as attacking him. This old troll was talking about my country is anti women /girl and practice inequality on women because there is no female president ever took office since independence, which is not like his country, so i reject that generalization based on ingorence and biases in my response from a foreigner. That pretty much set him off course and started calling me with all these "Sexist", and "Moron" etc... terms of endearment out of nowhere. It is kind of funny i became all of these overnight here in his-lot. Thinking about it, at least i get him go through all my responses, i am doing not that bad after all. (joking). Thank for responding and glad you like this post.

It seems to me that I don`t have much sense of humor when I encounter those people and I quickly report abuse. I remember that when I was just starting here, I saw a post by a fanatic who was telling everyone that they were going to burn in hell. I think those are not the kind of people I want around me so, if I can help mylot clean house, I`ll do it.

Good approach on your part when you encountered troll like this, i can definitely use that approach at the same time also help mylot to clean house, a stone kill two birds. Very nice !! Thank for the tips. By the way, is that fanatic still manage to wait around in mylot for everyone to burn in hell as he wish after you reported him.???

i take all negative comments with a pinch of salt. i realise i am not everybodys cup of tea and to be honest i could not care less. what does annoy me is cyber bullying on someone i regard as a friend. that riles me up and i go in to defend them.
everyone has their own opinion and sometimes you have to take things on board like have they had a awful day? or do they have high blood pressure or are they drinking? all these things can affect or attitude on mylot as it is such an easy thing to take our brunt out on mylot.
either way i would not take two much notice, you might meet this person in real life and get on like a house on fire.

I understand what you're saying ! May be on that day he is having a bad date with his old partner, suffer a bit of high blood pressure and want to throw his temper around a bit while mylotting, it is easy for him to get the brunt out on Mylot than in real life, that is about all. Well, i think i will just let the admin. deal with him and hope for the best. Thank for the two cents.

Hi Inder...! May be he is a weirdo that is why he acted so weird....or should i say "judgemental". In a way, you never have to meet such person yet is indeed a good news, such troll is repulsive especially if he is an old cranky one who likes to grouch. Thank for the response.
