Have Ever Think Of This?

Sometimes we feel the time and days comes so slow when we are waiting for something or even someone.Seems that we want to pull the time to come faster than usual.
But time and days goes so fast when we want to hold something for us to keep and stay with.
Why is that when we want to stay with someone longer then the time goes very fast as if you want to hold back the time.Like a wind that passing by.
Why is that when we are waiting for something and feel excited upon then time and days like a turtle waiting to arrive?

I think that any time you are excited about something time slows down. Life rambles along when you are bored and not excited about the situation you are in. Keeping busy and not thinking about such things will help the time to go by and you to get the next level of your life.

I'm think of these million times now but it ended like I cannot grasp the answer and every now and then still feeling the same. As of now, I know most of us here have the same thought and feelings.
Maybe I will just think of being relax no matter I'm waiting and whatever I'm holding back.

Our minds are funny things. We have our own internal clocks. Our internal clocks shut off when we are with others and so it seems like it flies by. Then our internal clocks turn back on when we want to be with them counting those seconds and making them drag on forever.

This is my theory on why this happens any way. At times it can be nice but others it is horrible isn't it?

Hi Montevilla,Oh gosh yes, that happens to me all the time! It's like the work week drags on,but the weekend flies by! But,more for me right now,I am on social security and only get one check a month which comes on the third of each month. And the last week of the month and first few days of the next month seems to take forever,it is so slow. And during the day when my daughter is at school, time seems to be so slow. But,when she comes home and we can spend time together,it seems it's bedtime already and we start all over......here we go again!
I guess it's anticipation! If we are also doing something not so fun, then it seems like it's not so good.Like when we went on vacation to Disney World in July......the week went by so fast and I didn't want to go home. But,we had a great time.
We need to cherish the great times that we have and I suppose just be grateful that we have times with the people and places we have at all.

This exactly the things in my mind now.I guess you have the same. As you said even a tiny and little time we had we need to enjoy things and be grateful of what time had brings.
Thank you for sharing your thought! Happy mylotting!

Well, I also have this feeling, but I think all in all, it's a little feeling of everyone.
Surely when we expect something good, it seems never to pass the time, and we are always with an eye to the clock or the calendar waiting for the arrival of much-desired moment.
But when we are in a good condition, perhaps we would like that the moment would last forever, it seems that time passes very quickly.
In reality, the time always passes in the same way, it is a constant. Are we, that live it in our own way.

That's how I feel sometimes. We don't even know time had passed even when we have something enjoying at times. But when we need to hold things surely we can notice every tick of the clock.
You are right times is just a times its about how we deal into it.

I think those phrases like "prolonging the agony of waiting" or "time really flies" is but fitting in this discussion. This is the reality of life. I think the more we focus on the remaining time, the more it will be prolonged, if we want to end at instant. That's why, I'm doing my best to use my time wisely and try to get busy on things that matters. Thanks

Waiting for the time to come and wanting to hold it back, its madness when we think of it but as you have said its the reality of life. I think being grateful every phase of life no matter we are waiting or holding we still need to be grateful of all these.
Thank you for responding!

Yes, some days pass slowly and some quickly and without feeling them. Those who pass without doing something good in them, we really regret.

I agree with you, so we have to do what we can do at times we need to do things.

Hi. I think all of us have that feeling. I and I'm sure you have to, noticed that when you are with someone you enjoy to be with and you really want that to last as long as possible the time seems to go by faster. That has been happening to me a lot, I have left my country to go and study and when I went out with my friends from my country I knew that I have limited time to be with them and I tried to enjoy the time spent with them to the maximum and I have noticed that 1 month seemed to have lasted last than a week. Also there the thing that if you want something to end faster like a class the time seems to go by a lot slower. What can I say , the human brain is a strange machine with lots of misteries . Cheers
