Adam lies, runs to Sharon while she burns the ranch!! Young and the Restless

I have been really likeing the "new" Adam, with Chelsea. I didn't like him at first, as he kept doing stuff to people all to try to be accepted by his family, but lately, he has been a good person, trying to make a better life for him and Chelsea. I like him and Chelsea!
But...today..you creep Adam....SHaron calls him and he tells Chelsea it was Kevin. Then later he calls Sharon and she begs for him to help her....Adam lies to Chelsea (after she just lost their baby and is dealing with that!) and goes to Sharons rescue! Are you serious!!! She trashed him over and over, tried to crash his wedding...and she calls and he comes running!!! He wouldn't even talk to Chelsea about loosing the baby, but runs to Sharon...and lies to her about it? Boy, I tell you...I don't like him anymore! When Chelsea finds out...she will be so hurt and mad and that might be the end of that couple! And Sharon...she doesn't get her way so she gets drunk and goes and burns down Victors house! Dang...why do they even keep that character around! And now with Adam rescuing her...good grief....the men in that town are pathetic!!! They all chase after her, and when she pulls her stunts that cause havoc..usually they all run to her rescue but since her "current Mrs Newman" shanagians...NONE of them want her around....at least we thought! She always gets one to bail her out!!! Talk about being tired of a character! I wish they'd write her out at least for awhile till the town can get themselves back to their own world and out of the "Sharon World".

I have also started to like the "new" Adam, and his new relationship. Thought maybe they were going to let him be a good guy! But now that he's once again ran to Sharon, and is going to somehow cover for her starting the fire...he'll lose his relationship with Chelsea eventually. Why do they all run to Sharon?? She's lost her mind, and yet all the men want to save her. It's getting old!

Oh I know...I just can't figure why all the men in town rescue Sharon..after she trashes them all! Good grief, all she does is sleep around and whine and complain and whimper! What do they see in her...okay, don't answer that! But as you say...it is getting old. She is a useless character on the show yet they continue to spotlight her and her stupidity! VERY VERY OLD!!!

I never liked Adam but I was starting to warm up to him because of Chelsea who I have come to really like. But now that he has been so lacking in support of her over losing the baby and has lied to her about Sharon calling, my dislike has returned. I haven't like Sharon for a very long time; she was never a character that cared much for and I agree, she needs to go.

Same with me. I was looking forward to a good couple in Adam and Chelsea and have them do something other than fight with the Newmans or the Abbotts! You know...something new!!! I gave him the bene of the doubt when he didn't want to talk about hte baby with chelsea that day...everyone deals with grief differently, but still...he wasn't there for her to talk to..he had to run to Sharon! My dislike has returned also!

I knew that new Adam wouldn't last long, and suspected that it would be Sharon or Victor to drag out the old Adam from where he has been hiding. Well it was Sharon, which is unsurprising. I mean Adam was really happy and fulfilled - like when he first met Victor, but now he is heartbroken and the way he deals with it is to return to his Adam shell - where he uses his insecurities to justify his lying and scheming. The fact that he just lost his son means that he is heavily reminded of what he did to Sharon and Ashley with the baby story so maybe they will play on that guilt. Okay is it just me or is it as if they burnt down the ranch to create a new set for drama, the fact that they gave Adam such a huge set is also perfect for a new set of dramatic scenes. I suspect that Chelsea and Adam will not be happy long, something will make them break up, but I think Chelsea is Adam's Nikki, no matter how many times they break up they will always get back together again. Who knows only time will tell.

I think that like most of Adam's schemes it starts with a little thing that just blows out of proportion, he doesn't tell Chelsea he is meeting Sharon because well Chelsea knows what Sharon means to him, so he does not want to hurt/worry Chelsea. Then he has to lie about the fire smell, now when Chelsea discovers that the ranch has burnt down, she will probably suspect Adam did it, we all know he is perfectly capable of doing that. So when on top of that Chelsea realizes he lied to her, it will probably start tearing away at her, so a little white lie to protect her feeling will probably grow into something serious.

I was thinking that same thing about Sharon and Adam...Sharon is Adam's Nicki. But yeah, probably a new set is needed! And why not the ranch. Gives them a whole new storyline to work with...now that Nicki and Victor are back togther and he lost Newman Ent.
Yeah, they never let anyone be happy for long. And I would think he is a bigger jerk if he is doing this thing with Sharon for pay back for what he did to her baby...he just lost his so go console another woman? What about consoling his own wife that just lost HIS baby!!!

That is sad I was liking the new Adam too. It's such a shame that he doesn't see that his relationship to Sharon is toxic. He should have cut ties a long time ago. Even though he did Sharon wrong he has to see that their relationship has become dark and sinnister. Poor Chelsea...

SHe was the one that did him wrong! He tried to get her back twice and she shafted him...until the last time at his wedding to chelsea and she tried to get him back before deciding to marry Victor..and Adam turned her down.
But still...he has chelsea now and a great life and all..why would he throw it away for Sharon? They have history, but still...I would say surely he knows that if he befriends and rescues Sharon AGAIN...Chelsea will leave him, but of course...being a soap...they don't think like that!
Apparently today...he got Sharon out of the fire before anyone saw either of them and she doesn't remember anything and he is going to do "damage control" for her and I guess try to make it so she isn't held responsible for the fire she started...why do they all bail Sharon out!?!?!?!?!
