I guess i can make myself smile when i think of funny moments in my life, or funny moments i see on tv or anywhere.. or i just find a movie that is so hilarious.. it's quite easy. maybe you should keep a stack of funny videos for easy access.

ztuberi, i am sure you do have happy memories. sometimes you feel dull or dreary, you can think back the happy and joyful memories you had before. or you can log on to internet or turn on the television to watch some funny laughter shows. also, may you live your life happily because our life on earth is short. we never know what may come tomorrow, but at least we have today. live your day meaningfully with much joy and happiness. With happiness, you live a day; with sadness, you still have to live through the day. Why choose to live your day dully and with dreary? Be positive, not being calculative of the things happening around, learn to let go certain things will help a person to be more joyful instead of being grumpy, and unhappy. Have a good day, and smile always! =)

I was happily collecting shining coins and I heard someone calling me. I went and slide my window curtain and saw my husband calling, he forgot to bring the house key !! Hmmm, then only I realised that I was dreaming ... how wonderful if it's TRUE with all those shining and beautiful coins that I collected was REAL ... (I hope I managed to make you S-M-I-L-E) Just think of happy times, those funny moments you encountered. I always SMILE when I think back all the good old times with family and friends. I love to watch Mr. Bean, Oggy and the Cockroaches, SpongeBob Squarepants, they never failed to make me laugh or smile. Try it... be positive, the world still have happy moments for all of us... after all it is FREE

I do something that I really like to do, like play an instrument, play a game in the computer or on my phone, eat (not recommended ), or other things depending on what I think of at the moment. Or sometimes, I read jokes or go to funny websites. Here's one site I go to often when I need a quick fix: http://notalwaysright.com/

I only have my violin now. I broke my guitar a long time ago (but am looking forward to buy a new one). And I left my piano at my parents' house (now my brother's house because they "exchanged" houses) and is now for my nieces to play.

I know exactly how you feel, this happens to me too. You can't really force your self to smile when you feel don't like it, that's why it feels weird. One way to make your self smile more is by searching something funny. Like youtube video or comedy movies. I hope this helped!

When I feel dreary like that I think of something that made me smile in the past like something one of my kids did when they were little, a funny joke I have heard or program I have watched, etc., Usually when I stop thinking on my misery and distract myself with something more pleasant, the doldrums will lift a little.

It's not easy to SMILE when you are in bad mood. There are times that we can fake our smile- but when we're in real real bad mood, I don't think I can manage to smile. But it's not also good to frown all the time. I guess the best thing to do -is to watch a funny or comedy movie

I always try to be simple and free. I believe that such a free mind can find a lot of fun in everything around us and if our friends are joining with me I will have a smile with me all the time. As time passes it makes me to realize that friends are the ones who can help you and along with who can trust as well the one who can put a lot of smiles on you. Create more and more friends and it will be the day your face will glitter with good smile

I know how hard it becomes to smile when your are not happy from within. Personally speaking, I have worked over this a lot and now I am able to keep myself happy. I have seen infinite benefits of same. In fact keeping yourself happy is not difficult once you make yourself realize that nothing good will happen in being dull. You should know what things make you happy. It is often small things that happen to you daily which prove enough to make you forget your worries. Literally, I watch laughter shows or talk to my friends whom I find humorous or do silly stuffs which bring a sense of contentment. These things do bring a change.

Well, what do you like to do? Watch a sitcom, a cooking show, a travel show? Don't watch foodball even if you like it, you'll only yell if your team lose ;) Go chat with friends, your family, work on your bike or car. If there is something you like to do, or someone you love to talk to, then it's almost guaranteed that such things will eventually make you smile :)

Try thinking about the happiest or funniest thing you have ever had happen to you. Or watch a good comedy on TV or a good comedy movie. Sometimes a good memory we have will trigger a smile and then before you know it you are laughing out loud!

There are really times in life that we feel this boredom, loneliness or anger which hinders us from smiling. However, when such time comes to me. I would really recall those times of happiness and joy.
