What means a best friend? I have any one?

Well to me best friend is someone who you can trust, depend on and lean on in a time that you really need them. someone you're comfortable around, reliable trust worthy fun somewhat similar to you.. happy mylotting!

In my almost half a century of living, I never found one whom I would call a best friend. My contemplation and observation of the friendship I have and had brings me to the reality that there is no such thing as best friends. Evey individual, would take more cognizance of himself first and foremost rather than sacrifice for a friend. It is something like, "when worst come to worst, me first before you".

I think it means to be loyal, a best friend must never tell our secrets even if the relationship ends because that would be a coward thing to do. The basic thing about being a good friend is to have a heart that is alike and that we love the person. The brother/sister we never had but we can choose.

Bestfriends are people that soley knows you from all aspects of your life, they are those who are genuine and that are very special people in your life. They are the first people you think about when you make plans. Aside from your Family, They are the first people you go to when you need someone to talk to. When you’re sad they will try their hardest to cheer you up. They give the best hugs in the world! They are the shoulder to cry on, because you know that they truly care about you. In most cases they would take a bullet for you, coz it would be too painful to watch you get hurt.

i can say that i have more that one bestfriends. we know each other during im taking my degree. the we all getting close. can get all almost all the time. still keep in touch with them now. even one of them already married and stay overseas.

i don't think a best friends need to be with you all the time? i do have 2 best friends a guy and a gal my best friend guy is my best buddy during my schooldays in college he was so far away from me cos he work is in manila and me living in the province we do call each other frequently but we see to it that whenever each one of us needs a helping hand we are there ... my best friend gal is the one i met online only but we do visit each other if we both have time we chat everyday we call almost everyday her bf cant believe that we talk that much even we are far apart..

Im g oing to say that i have more than one best friend. One and the best would be my boyfriend for instance like last night he listened to me saying things and saying things on issues with money and i start crying but he doesnt help or want to work so it stresses me out to no limit of yelling at him at times. I dont have the money to be to keep putting in his account when he ovre drafts it. Now my girl best friend is in Miami and i text her through out the day or am on AIM talking to her while at work at call her at least a couple times a week to just talk to her. Now i can talk to her about anything and she will listen to me and thats the best its great to have someone in your life to help you through rough times.

In my opinion, a best friend (or a friend or any sort of relationship) is two ways. We both have to be there for the other. In your post I don`t see what you would do for your friend. People don`t come around saying that they will be a good friendship. Relationships of any kind involves an activity, and an expenditure of energy of both parts. So, what would you do for someone, so that he can call you a friend?

I would say that I have many close friends, but not truly a best friend. I have lots of friends who call me their best friend, but for some reason the feeling (on my part) is not mutual. I am one who listens...a lot. I let my friends vent their feelings out, but I myself won't spill all my feelings and secrets to them as best friends usually do. Maybe it's trust issues or something else, but I am still waiting for the day when I can actually call someone my best friend without feeling as if I am lying to myself. As for someone calling you a best friend, I think it depends on how close you are to the person who's your friend. If you and them hang out all the time, and if you are the first one they would ever go to if they had a problem or want to tell some big news to. When you and a friend have many things in common,can talk endlessly to each other as well as listen to each other naturally (no awkwardness), and can get into arguments and solve it without ending your friendship then you can already guess that you are best friends. It's good to take risks, and put yourself a little out there (this will keep you from being in my situation). Hopefully everything works out for you :) Happy mylotting.

A good friend should be the one who cares you, who supports you and should be the one who should be with you for every simple things. A friend can be easily made it needs some spoken words but a true friend is something rare and precious. As the time passes you will see more and more ones in your life and some of them will stick with you. Keep you ears and eyes sharp till it happens. Good Luck

I call her/him a best friend if every time i have a problem they can support me not only a financial support but also a moral support.And a best friend is not only see your good behavior but also your bad side,if she or he understand you everything, then i call him/her a best friend.Sometimes you have a friend that they call you a best friend but when the time u have a problem or you need their help they don't want to help or they have a lot of reason why they can't help you, if the people like that i am not consider a best friend.Because for me if your best friend need your help you find a ways how can u help to a person needs you.

I think the key to finding that best friend is in being one. Find someone that you can listen to and support and make a huge effort to do so. That's when you'll likely find that you'll have someone to listen to you and support you, too.
