I am possibly going to move back up north,taking bus.....Any Suggestions?

I am contemplating moving back up north from Florida. I will have to take the bus as financially I am low on funds. Does anyone have any suggestions about packing, what to take and what not to take, things to keep me occupied on the bus etc. It's been awhile since I have traveled by bus so any ideas would be appreciated! This is a big step for me as I have lived in Florida for many years although I am originally from the north.

Thanks a ton for posting this discussion. Well glad to know that u are moving towards north as u have been staying in Florida since many years. i think as far as luggage are concerned, always try to keep them light and do not take heavy luggage and try also to take with u all important things that u think are highly necessary for u in the long run, Rest all things u can keep away at your old place.

Thanks so much for your comment! I am finding what you are saying is true. The bus lines now only allow 1 suitcase. If you want to take two you have to pay for the extra suitcase, so you really have to pack carefully.
