Have you any experience your ceiling fan start voice and feel like fall down?

Hello, Ceiling fans of new generation have this problem. Rod of these fan have not threads. Rod connected with fan only with help of nut bolt. It is also happen with me so I avoid to use fan in this situation. Precaution is better.

haha, so you didn't sleep all night, poor thing. yes i have faced such situation ,and i never sleep in the room if the fan makes any sound. Ceiling fans are a mechanical thing and because of the fact that there are so many different moving pieces in them, there are times that they will start to get a little bit noisy in operation and when that happens, there is typically at least one bolt within the motor of the ceiling fan that is loose. I imagine that if I was to have a noisy ceiling fan in my bedroom, it would make it really, really difficult for me to be able to sleep until it was fixed and not so noisy.

I have heard of some ceiling fans that sound so weird and noisy, i stare at them for a time, just to watch if they'd fall down or not.. I stay away from them though,just in case hey do fall down.. that would totally hurt. Maybe there's something wrong with the screws.

You need to be careful if the sound started all of a sudden. If it making the noise for a long time, it is ok. But the sound starts and visibly annoying, which needs to be checked whenever it start making unusual sound. The fan may be fitted years before it need to serviced or to be checked after few years. In normal case it is not required, but at certain point of time, if the tear and wear is too much, then it is be inspected for a better understanding. This is not only with fan, but the common things what we use at home and if it make sounds, we need to be checked. Have a nice day.

You are a worrier indeed my friend. However, you have every reason to be because as you said the next day, you have to have the rod of the electric fan tightened. And your husband seemed unaffected. If that happened to us, it would be my husband who will worry a lot.
