Isn't there a better solution for mylot???

I haven't experienced that kind of problem though but i lost all my earnings. That's because i haven't opened my account for like months now. So i fully understand what happened to me. Yours however is a problem you need to voice out to this site's operators. Another problem i encountered just happened to me a while ago. I was creating this discussion, a very lengthy one at that. When i posted it a message appeared on the screen saying i had a network error even though i was fully connected and there is an internet connection. I was really pissed off.

This problem arises because whenever we start a discussion we have a lot of hopes that it is not contradicting guidelines. our desire to post makes us forget about all this, Can you believe whenever I start a discussion I always start with the hope that that discussion will get more than the maximum no. of responses received by me in any discussion so far -- ie. 55+. But i get 4 or 5 or even less . luckily my friends do not allow 0. So we also while posting responses believe it is fine but it is deleted afterwards. last week the number was more on account of email notifications aspect. i am used to deletions of responses and always allow 5% discount for that. Please do not ever feel bad personally about deletions. It is a procedural matter which we have to follow and agree and enjoy.

Yes, I had this happen to me just recently. I was notified via e-mail that a couple of my responses had been deleted because the discussion itself had been deleted. As far as the number next to my name, I really don't keep a close eye on it, so even though I'm sure it went down, I have no clue as to how many posts it was decreased to or anything like that.

thanks for posting. the best tips to avoid deleting is to ask quality questions and give answer to good quality questions only.i m also a victim of this incident. but i surely support mylot managements because this rule is good ,other wise the peoples will misuse that And the name of the site will goes to negative

Solution is mylot will approve the topics first and then will release them tobe responed or commented. Sometimes we, user cant understand which topic goes agaist guidelines and which not.

riyauro there are more rules than just not making duplicates for heavens sakes go look at the guidelines they are there to make sure you do not make discussions that break the rules. if you have never driven a car do you not take l,essons,. if you are new to my lot in any wa y do read the guidelines for the simple reason it shows you the rules and tells you what you can do and what you are not to do. go read it even if you didf it beofre as duplication is just one rule people break there are several more and they are not hard to understand,. read the guidelines as its a how to make discussions and how to m ylpt.mylot.

It is not anyones suffering here. Anyone who violates the rules and guidelines gets to face the deletion. So there is no issue over it. To answer your question - yes, there have been days and discussions from me which have got deleted because of the duplicates. You have to learn to use the search bar and try to find out for yourself if the content or tone of the discussion is a duplicate or not. There is and will be no other way as far as what I have seen. And trust me, once you get through this and learn it, you would speak my words as you would realize that there are really many duplicates which should have been deleted long before. But then, the admin is really busy and reading all discussions just out of compulsion of job is not a joke. So please dont think to blame the admin for their work... they do it good and right so that Mylot stays healthy

I have noticed the number of posts I did were also deleted and I think if it were withing the Mylot discussion guidelines, it wouldn't have happen. So what we can do is to post on discussions that are not presented very much alike like other previous posts.

hi riya, same here, My points got deducted,, because of the deletion of others discussions. I don't know any other solution, other than check the discussion whether it is according t rule or not. see you didn't add me, i missed your discussion and only came to know after a search.

I suffered from having posts deleted, but it did not seem to affect my count.

This what i noticed in Mylot , admin would not think twice if the discussion is like a polling question. Guess 2 already were deleted fr my discussion and many responded from those discussion. Thats why we be careful even in responding , if we know its a polling question then never mind responding for surely it will be deleted. That is ok Riya.

It also happens to me. Although I have joined in this site just a few days ago, I have been very much active in posting new discussions and responses. And I think that the number of my post have been decrease by seven each day. But I have no complains. Instead of being discourage, I am more determined to work harder here.

Friend first tell me this is your real photo if yes then very nice. We cant do anything because we not know which discussion may be delete by mylot. Last week I got 5 notifications and say my answer is delete because of the discussion is deleted. I also feel irritated because the money will loose but no option. So I decided if the question is related to decision making like start from "Do you like" or which you prefer arrange marriage or love marriage this type of discussion mostly deleted. Because we cant ask the one side opinion.

Hi Riyauro, It's been a week or more since the last time I received notification that my response has been deleted due to the deletion of the discussion that I participated. Not because there is something wrong with the notifications, but because I have not participate in many discussions so chance to get my response will be deleted is smaller. My little strategy to avoid deletion, first I will make sure that the discussion I participate doesn't break the guidelines and if Im not sure whether the discussion break the guidelines or not I would wait few days before participate to it (not 100% guaranteed that it's gonna avoid deletion but at least minimize the probability). Second, I like to participate in discussion which related to personal life problem because people might have the same problem but everyone has different view or angle, I think nobody has 100% identical same situation. Duplicated topics usually happen because the discussion starter does not specify their topics, mylot has told us to be as descriptive as possible so by writing a descriptive topic we can lessen the chance of duplicated or identical topic to previous one. Other kind of discussions that I like to participate is discussion about current situation or daily news especially something that happen in my country, so chance that the discussions has been posted in the past time is smaller. I understand your frustration to have your response get deleted, it is like a waste of time because you devoted your time to respond on the discussion then to find out it is deleted. But the more we spending time on mylot, we can learn which type of discussion that probably will be deleted.

I believe all Mylot members faced similar situations before. It is commonly known that Mylot wants to prevent duplications of topics in order to maintain the quality of discussions. However, I am not really supporting what they are doing. Let us do a little bit of critical thinking here, we have hundreds of thousand Mylot members and each of them are posting discussion every now and then about whatever that they feel like sharing or discuss about. But, what we have around us is just too limited if we are not allowed to have similar discussions. Think about it, how many times when you want to chat with your friends or lovers online or on the phone, and you ran out of topics and went into silence? Yes, the same goes here, there are not much unique discussions to talk about. Everybody may had talked about common issue such as love, family, work, making money online, movie, songs, friends, travel and food. What else can you expect people to talk about? Thus, I believe we should be allowed to have similar discussions as long as it is not completely identical or same or in academical writing we call plagiarism. This will enable Mylot members to have more choices in starting discussions.

Hi, This happened to me also. It was very disappointing to me. But I didn't try to find the solution. I am just going on responding discussions and writing new discussions. My son's account is deleted after getting star rating 10. So I decided to neglect it and keep going on working on mylot.
