That kind of diet is not good. You want to loose weight in a healthy way. You also want to maintain it in the long run. Meal replacement is a crash diet, you loose weight fast but then you'll gain it back again faster. So in the end, there is no benefit. When you diet like that, your body feel hungry, your metabolism is actually shut down, it will conserve fat.
The key to loose weight in the long run and maintain it,is to have a balance diet, carb, protein, fiber. Try to eat smaller portion but more frequent: breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 snack times in between. Drink a lot of water. Exercise.

Its a kind of crash diet. we need more calories than a baby. so i feel cerelac and shakes wont fulfill the need of our body. please look into this.Have some healthy diet but in less quantities. That will be helpful.

I have been dieting for two years to try and lose the weight that I need to, and I can honestly say that there is no way that I could ever replace my meals with shakes, because the fact is that I like to eat far too much. I have managed to lose 125 pounds in the past two years, so I just know that I am able to do it without actually having to do the things that other people think that they have to do. I would not recommend meal replacements to anybody, because you can always lose the weight that you need to just by eating healthily and doing some exercise.

Thanks a ton for posting this discussion. Well to be very honest i have never tried meal replacement in my life as i think that might not work for me as i have become very much used to certain food and would prefer those to be the same always. Yes there can be some minor changes that can be done with our meals depending upon the requirements.
What say?
