You don't add funds to your account. You use PayPal to send someone a payment and PayPal will deduct the appropriate amount from your bank account/debit card.

Thanks a ton for posting this discussion. Well glad to know that u had opened a paypal account. i think all u need to do is at first go through the guidelines of Paypal and then finish off all the verification processes that u are entitled to do in order to verify your account. Then u can try sending any amount to your paypal account that might then get transferred to your bank account. What say?
