Teach some scrabble tricks / myLot

My school is going to hold a 'Language Event' from two weeks from now on. Everyclasses must participate by send their delegation to compete in this event. There are three language that are being compete here, there are English, Indonesia, and Germany. I was chosen to compete in English language session in Scrabble Game. But i never play scrabble game before, there is a little doubt to win inside me. So can you tell me some tips and tricks to play Scrabble Game? Hope you'll give your best respond for my problem. Cause i really need your help....

Thanks a ton for posting this discussion. Well glad to know that u are going to participate in the Scrabble game and i think u should not have those negative thoughts and rather think positive about the competition results. I think u should work more on learning English words and then associating them in such a way so that u can use them easily in the competition. Good luck! What say?

Thanks a million for your advice, i always have that negative thinking before i do something but from now on i'll try to be optimistic.

Thanks a ton for your response again. Yes of course, i too also get nervous whenever i am going to participate in a competition but i always try to coax myself and try to calm down myself so that i can keep that confidence level high and intact till the end of the competition that will help me to sustain in it. What say?
